Kalorik Stand Mixer

Since becoming a homeowner and Mom, I’d pass over clothes and jewelry any day for small appliances. Which is why I like browsing the Kalorik website so much. The brand carries items for the home, but most notably – great items for your kitchen! And they all have one common attribute – clean, modern and stylish!

Established in Belgium, in 1930, Kalorik has become synonymous with fine engineering and unique product development. As one of Europe’s first manufacturers of small electric appliances, the company’s initial product was one of the very first electric toasters.

With this well recognized achievement and a thirst for new innovation, the company established offices in the U.K., Germany, and Switzerland to further innovate and design new and exciting products. Kalorik’s passion to create superior products is a guiding force in the company’s commitment to new trends in product development, meticulous care for detail, and to maintaining cutting edge manufacturing.

I was able to choose an item for review, thanks to Kalorik, and ultimately chose a Stand Mixer. This is a small appliance that I’ve never owned, but one that I have had my eye on for years. Though life and kids don’t allow me to bake as often as I’d like – I take every opportunity I can to make a cake or tasty treat for my family or friends.

And, since I don’t just bake a small cake {ahem, my girls get 4 tiered b-day cakes or castles}, I really could use a stand mixer to help me get the job done.

The Kalorik Stand Mixer isn’t of great size, but it does do the job well, have great features and looks just fabulous in the kitchen, don’t you think? That black and stainless steel look is very attractive!

When it comes to size, I decided I like that it’s not a massive mixer since I don’t like to keep appliances and clutter on my counter. When not in use, I stash away my gear – so the size is ideal for saving space and convenience.

The Stand Mixer comes with your choice of beaters or dough hooks, and a removable 3 quart bowl. Setup was very simple and in no time I was playing with the features. It has 5 different speeds for mixing, beating and whipping, as well as a turbo and a Pulse function.

It easily tilts back and forth and the mixer actually comes off the base, allowing it to be a hand mixer as well. Being a fan of multi-use items, this really impressed me since there are time when you want to have more control over the mixing. At $69.99, you can’t beat the price for this Stand Mixer!

As you can see, I have already put my mixer to good use. I used to use a hand mixer all the time, having to stop each time I need to add more ingredients. And if anyone has doen this themselves, you know that putting down a hand mixer is tricky and messy {always falling over!}.

With my Kalorik Stand Mixer I am able to push a button, add ingredients and even tend to the kids for a quick minute and the mixing goes uninterrupted. I’m a fan and now I know why I have wanted a Stand Mixer for so long. My only question? Why did I wait so long?

  17. love the blender… like the stainless steel look… great for chopping anything for veggies, to making Orange juilius…. and chopping ice… would also love the mixer…. husband has recently lost his right leg due to cancer and diebetees…. loves the new sugar free cake mixes you can buy…..love your website
