{kinda} Wordless Wednesday ~ Date Night!
Last Saturday, my oldest daughter and I took a break from the house {and the twins} and went on a date night. We do this as often as we can, to reconnect and have a girls night out. So, we bundled up and went to a hockey game!
Isabelle loved having her fill of game-snacks {the best ice cream in the world!}. And my favorite? I cherished just holding her hand, since mine usually have a twinlin in each. It was a fabulous night, and our city won!
{a little dark and blurry, yet my iPhone was working overtime in such a dim arena}

Aww, this is so sweet! I am looking forward to the days that we can do this as well! I bet she loved having her Mommy all to herself for an evening. what a great thing to do 🙂
That is so precious! Mommy.daughter time is always the best! Have a great night.
I love that idea!!! How sweet – and she is your twin! 🙂
She is your twin! You look like you could be here sister not here Mom 😉
Glad you guys had a great time together
Crystal – you are a doll! Thank you!
What a great idea. Not many mom-daughter hockey nights I’ve heard of but sounds like you had a great time.
Awesome!! My daughter and I do this as well. I love spending that special time with her!
She looks so much like you. I think it’s great that you spend one on one time with her.
I’ve never been to a hockey game, and always wanted to go to one!
You should, Alissa – it’s a lot of fun!
That is so sweet! Your daughter has a lovely smile!
I can’t wait to start taking the kids to sports games! Glad you two had a nice date night!
oh how sweet, I would never picture a mother/daughter date at an arena – that’s pretty cool
this is the reason i want a baby girl next 🙂
what a great mom you are! Isabelle will always remember these special times with you.
so important to take time with older children when there are little one’s. I am sure she enjoyed the day with mommy
Good for you! Johnny and I try and have ‘Johnny/Mommy Days’ but they are incredibly hard as hubby looks at it as a chore to watch our youngest all by himself.
What a great way to spend your day!!
That’s really awesome. What a sweet thing to do together and you know she really cherishes that time with you. Go mom!
I love dates with my little darling. Looks like you had fun!
I had a date with my son today. It was quite a bit of fun.
What a great idea! I’m going to have to remember to do that with my older boy when our next little one comes.
That’s so sweet that you plan special time for your daughter. You’re a great mom!
I love that you have date night with your daughter. Every kid needs some one on one time with Mom.
I cherish my times with my daughter and she begs me to do it more often. … I need to do it more often! 🙂
I love that you carve out that special time for her. I need to do that more with my oldest son that kind of gets left out in the hurricane story of his little brother’s life.
Happy WW!
I love it 🙂
They grow so fast. What a neat idea to have a date night with her; I may “steal” your idea with my four-year-old.
That’s so sweet that you do a date with your oldest. Good thinkin’ mama 🙂
How fun! Mommies and daughters definitely need their time together!

i like going on mymmy and daughter days, great to spend quality time with them.
What a wonderful chance to make some fabulous Mom & Daughter memories! Fabulous.
Hello gorgeous! So glad you and the big girl got to escape. I know Grant and I try to as often as possible, but sigh, work and the kids. It is always nice to get away with them so they have their special time away from the chaos of the twins. You look so happy. Love and miss you! xoxo
Girls nights out are so fun!
Thanks for stopping by!
