ZAK Designs | 8pc Mixing Bowl Set

The first time I browsed the ZAK Designs website, I was drawn to the great kids’ mealtime products {I fully admit to thinking of the kids before myself}. Yet upon further searching, I noticed that ZAK! has a huge selection of dinnerware and tableware for the home too. ZAK! Designs sent me the 8pc set of Mellow Mixing Bowls with Lids. Not your run-of-the-mill white color, ZAK! Designs has impressive styles and colors, which certainly livens up kitchen products. The Mixing Bowl Set with Lids that I received are purple and green in color {the are actually called Orchid and Lime on the site}. And, the color alternates as the size increases {3qt, 2qt, 1qt and .5qt sizes}. They stack inside each other for easy storage, and the alternating color makes finding the complimenting lid so much easier {I’m sure we have all played the ‘find the lid’ game!}.

Yet, most important to note is that the 8pc Mixing Bowl Set is that they are microwave and dishwasher safe, made from recycled polypropylene and are BPA, PVC, phthalate, and lead free. To be honest, I’m not sure if my previous set of bowls were made of safe materials or not….and that made me nervous when thinking about it. Another great property of these bowl is that the bottoms are skid-free so that the bowls won’t slide all over the place when mixing. This alone has me sold, since I have tossed many a bowls before! As for the quality of the bowls, they are very thick – so I have really noticed that use, and trips in the dishwasher and microwave hasn’t changed the shape at all. The lids go on airtight {way better than my previous}, and it just feels like a good, solid bowl.

Browse through Zak! Designs and you’ll see a bunch of on-the-go storage items for kids and for the home. The dishware sets have rally caught my eye for their great designs. I’m sure ZAK! could help you out with your Christmas list!
