On the 12th Day of Christmas,
My children gave to me……
A Barbie head in a Christmas Tree!!!
I’ve gotten used to the fact that I won’t have a tree which is arranged to perfection.
And forget the fact that a glass ornament hasn’t seen my home in many years.
This is what is called a ‘reality tree’ when you live in a house of Chaos!
I even found a sock in there the other day.
I just consider myself lucky that it’s still standing at all!

ha that’s funny ! adds character though
Kym says
Oh, that’s just awesome! I wonder if your girls still continue to dress her headless body, like mine does!
Tammi says
Hmmm, speaking of – I haven’t seen the body in a while…oh no, wonder where that is…??
Gvenny says
That is PRICELESS!!! Even my husband enjoyed seeing this one Tammi…. Thanks for sharing it with all of us!

HA that is too funny!
I must be super brave I have glass ornaments all over my tree. I have a 2 year old and a 5 year old. Then we babysit twice a week our nephews that are the same ages. They even throw soft balls in the house.
So far nothing has broken. Last year we had one break. It’s only a matter of time I’m sure.
Sweet Mummy says
roflol! That just cracks me up! You never know what’s going to end up in the tree! hehehe
Kathryn says
That’s amazing!! Going to go check my tree to see if any floating heads are in there…
Sandra U. says
I completely understand! I found a DVD and a ramen noodle on mine. “But MOMMMMM, it’s PWEETY!”
Tammi says

Raegen says
That’s so funny! I remember putting socks and all sorts of unwanted items on the Christmas tree when I was a kid. And I know I’ve beheaded a Barbie or two in my life, not to mention cut and coloured their hair. My friend and I had some great punk rock barbies. Thanks for the laugh and the memories. 🙂
Elly says
That actually freaks me out a little bit… It makes me think of the nextdoor neighbour Sid in Toy Story, the one who mangles toys. Ahhh!!!
Alissa says
I love this. It brought a much needed smile to my face tonight. Thanks for sharing.
Julia Christy says
Haha, that’s great! I don’t think my family would notice if that was on our tree, because the majority of our ornaments are handmade, so all of them are really, really different.
