Hallmark for Christmas

As the holiday season is approaching {at warp speed, it seems}, the present days are all about the countdown to Christmas. My house is decorated, the baking has started {and partially eaten} and the stocking aren’t hung by the chimney with care {twin toddlers – that says it all}. And although we have many ornaments and decorations for Christmas – we always like to get a couple extra each year – to build to our collection and bring a new sense of spirit into the home. Hallmark has some wonderful items to get you into that Christmas spirit this year.

When it comes to keepsake ornaments, hallmark seems to have it all. Our favorites are the Precious Moments ornaments, we all have one of our own. Available in any taste, character or theme – Hallmark also has fun interactive ornaments like the Countdown To Christmas: Countdown Clock. This clock ornament is a darling Santa jumping out of a chimney. On the LCD is a countdown to Christmas day, which is so simple to set {taking 2 ‘AA’ batteries, which are not included}. Not only will you know how many shopping days left, the kids think this is just tops. I used to be asked daily, “How many days until Christmas?”. Now, my daughter just looks at this ornament. And, the LCD only lights up when touched – which is great.

For the kids {and I admit, I just love this too} is the Dancing Frosty The Snowman. This years’ in-store offer – this plush frosty sings the signature Frosty song from the movie and dances, when either the button on his hand is pushed or when his hand is placed on his head. Isn’t that cute? Just like the movie – place his hat on his head and he comes to life! The Twins fell in love with Frosty right away, especially since they watched the Frosty movie just last week. You can get this adorable Frosty in stores for $29.95 or for just $14.95 if you purchase three cards {which I’m sure you will, so pick up one of these for a friend, family member or your child}. You can also watch a Demo of Dancing Frosty The Snowman and see him come to life for yourself!

Whenever I stop into our local Hallmark store for a ‘quick card’, my visit is never anything but a quick trip. There are just so many great gifting ideas throughout the store. I even manage to spend a lot of time looking in areas that I normally would have no interest in – like the graduation section! Hallmark is all about commemorating the occasion, whatever it may be. And when thinking of a gift or something to mark an occasion, you might be stuck on what that perfect item will be. Yet, one browse through a Hallmark store {or the online shop}, and I’m pretty certain you’ll find a lot of items to choose from.
