Play-Doh Creations

Play-Doh. It’s just one of those products that toddlers right through to school-aged kids, enjoy. Alright, I fully admit to jumping in and making something with the kids too. And, it’s one project that my kids can do, regardless of the season and never requires batteries {gotta love that once in a while!}. Now, Play-Doh allows for even more creativity with their Make ‘n Color Creations Playset. Basically, you create the body using Play-Doh, and then get to color the included body parts to make it unique. After all, one ‘bug’ made by Twin A looks nothing like a ‘bug’ made by Twin B once they are done attaching parts and coloring it!

The Play-Doh Make ‘n Color Creation Playset comes with:

  • 16 reusable “parts”
  • 4 wet erase markers
  • playmat
  • 5 two-ounce cans of Play-Doh (red, blue, green, pink, orange)

As you can tell, the sky is the limit when you create with this Play-Doh playset. And, if you need some inspiration on things to create, there are some suggestions on completed creatures online. Yet, to be honest, my kids haven’t needed any help, so I only checked out this site out of curiosity rather than needing actual help. My girls have made everything under the sun and then some with this set, and never tire of playing with it. It’s always me asking them to start cleaning it up due to having to leave or for mealtime. So, the Play-Doh Make ‘n Color Creation Set is one that they can play for hours.

The Play-Doh Make ‘N Color Creations Playset is available online or wherever Play-Doh products are sold. This product is intended for ages 4 and up, I think due to the markers included in the set. Yet, my girls do great with markers and had no problems playing with this set. As for gifting this year – this set it perfect for any child who already like to play with Play-Doh. It just kicks it up a notch and offers a little more direction on what to make. After all, I was always really good at making that Play-Doh dog, but the legs always fell off! This set helps out a little and allows animals and creatures to be made, pretty easily.

Disclosure: I was provided with product to facilitate this post, opinions are my own.

This brings back memories. I always had Play-doh around our house although there were no markers or playmat created yet. I love playing with it too. You could play with it for hours and be creative as you like.
