Peatoes | Style for Baby, Tot & Mom

Peatoes is a Canadian Mom-owned and operated shop that has a complete selection of products for baby, tot & Mom. Yet, these products must follow specific criteria to be included at – simplicity, functionality, good quality and style. Most of the products found at are; parents who are ecologically and environmentally friendly, a portion of sales goes back to the planet as thanks for what it brings us – those cute little toes!

For review, the girls got a few clothing items from And you’ll notice when browsing the baby and kids’ fashions at, there is a strong emphasis on simple colors with bold attention to details to make them unique. And, that is what I like about – the stray from the childish cartoons and pastels and attention to the classics that are always in style and never lose their power.

For instance, this Imps & Elfs pink and grey striped Tee {love this color combo!} and denim pants impressed be so much. The shape alone and how well they fit my girls are brag-worthy in itself. With all the moving and bending that toddlers do, it’s great to see clothes that actually move with them! These ‘skinny-type’ pants also have an adjustable belt in the waist, which has become a must-have when it comes to denim for my kids. This allows it to be worn longer and fit better. I would suggest getting these pants in one size larger as well, since they are straight leg ‘skinny’ jeans.
Imps & Elfs is a Dutch line that focuses on fair trade practices, organic cotton knits, and low-impact dyes. To me, it’s the attention to detail, just like the faux tabs and belts on the denim pants. There is a lot of style behind the soft and stylish clothing at Imps & Elfs.

The Tumble N Dry blouse that my oldest got is unlike anything she has. It has bold colors and a great fit, with a lovely feminine fringe to the hem. Plus, it looks so sharp dressed down or dressed up. Tumble N Dry is a clothing line from Holland, to which is the exclusive Canadian distributer. I see this line as very urban and hip – they even have fabulous dresses and cardigans too! Keep an eye on Tumble N Dry, there are quickly becoming full-on international! I do hope this is not our last encounter with these 2 great labels, yet I have to admit that the pricetag on some of the fine European clothing does hold me back from flashing my card too much. Yet, you do have to weigh your options when it comes to style, quality, taste and personality. If you are a huge Imps & Elfs and Tumble N Dry fan, look to offers so much for Baby, Tot and Mom. Toys, feeding, bath decor and more – they seemed to have succeeeded when the goal of the shop was to offer one-stop-shopping. There is a standard rate for shipping {12.98$ all across Canada and 16.98$ across the USA}, which takes the guess work out of ordering and final cost. Yet, place and order of $150 or more and get free shipping all across North America!
