Buddy Fruits Review

The Twins really like blended fruits, but my daughter always refuses them since she sees them, as ‘baby food’ or ‘not for big kids, Mom!” When Buddy Fruits arrived at our house, I didn’t expect that all my girls would go crazy over them! Since their first pouch of Buddy Fruits, the Twins always request them for a snack and my daughter even asked them to be packed for her lunch {that’s a first!}.

What sets Buddy Fruits apart from other brands of blended fruits is that they are made out of fruit, and nothing else. Just to illustrate how healthy Buddy Fruits are, check this out:

  • NO preservatives
  • NO colorings
  • NO additives
  • NO fat
  • NO genetic modification
  • NO artificial flavorings
  • NO dairy or gluten
  • NOthing artificial
  • ONLY few calories
  • ONLY fruit and nothing else!

The husband and wife team behind Buddy Fruits came to the US from France on a family trip and were shocked find that they couldn’t find blended fruit in pouches for kids. With a culinary background {French Chef and restaurant owner}, this family brought their Buddy Fruit pouches back to the states and the rest was history. Talk about filling the need and succeeding!

For convenience, especially when on-the-go, Buddy Fruits come in a resealable pouch with lid. Just unscrew the cap, squeeze and eat! It’s fun for kids, tastes great and is so great for them! Buddy Fruits are great for tossing into the purse or diaper bag, and sending off to school! My only disappointment is that Buddy Fruits, in Canada, are only available in Vancouver {at whole Foods and London drugs}. Yet hopefully soon, they will expand to other cities!

I didn’t plan for my 2010 Holiday Gift Guide to include blended fruit, yet it’s been such a welcome and fabulous product for my kids, it certainly deserves to be included. When Christmas brings time for a ton of food, treats and snacks – what an ideal time for healthy and nutritious Buddy Fruits!

Disclosure: I was provided with product to facilitate this post, opinions are my own.
