What would you do with a $50,000 re-model makeover?
Our first house, although loved since it was ours, was a homeowners nightmare and a handyman’s dream. In the 5 years that we lived there {until we bought the house we currently live in}, we must have re-modeled every square inch of the place. It was fun and exhilarating to play designer and be able to make that house our home, yet I do wish that we could have only spent our time, energy and money on what really counted – the kitchen. I believe the kitchen is the heart of the home. It’s where families get together, share and enjoy each other and good meals. As well, when guests are over, most likely they hang around the kitchen area the most. That is one reason why I fell in love with our current house – it has a wonderful kitchen. Yet, there are always things you’d like to change, to perfectly suit your needs and tastes and make it your dream kitchen.
KraftMaid offers a full line of kitchen cabinets, cabinet doors, hardware and items for the bathroom – all of which able to bring forth that special warmth and true personality into your home. Really, have a look at the site, these are gorgeous designs and accessories! KraftMaid has recently launched an online inspiration board tool, which helps homeowners design and bring their dream kitchen to life. Sometimes it’s hard to just look at a space and visualize the way you’d like it to look, which is why this tool is so handy! It allows you to completely customize the look to compliment any mood, color, and texture.
KraftMaid is also currently hosting their “Define Your Style” contest, for a $50,000 kitchen remodel! To enter, simply create and share your style by using the KraftMaid inspiration board tool. This will get you one entry for a chance to win that outstanding prize!
Recently, we did some changes to our kitchen sink and faucet. Though our house is fairly new, this area looked ‘blah’ and these small changes made a huge difference in the look and feel of the space. We just decided to do this and it turned out wonderfully. Yet, I’m not one to just go ahead and make such a change unless I really know that it’s the look I want. This is why the KraftMaid inspiration board tool is so useful, you’ll know what to expect and what works for the space without taking a guess and making a blind plunge.
Plus, that $50,000 remodel prize is fantastic, just imagine the options! What would you change in your kitchen? Enter and find out, wouldn’t it be great if one of my readers won!?
I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of KraftMaid. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me
for taking the time to participate.

Hi There,
I see you were interested in the “Define Your Style”. Well, I am one of the ten finalists. My entry is “The Family Gathering Place”. I am very excited to have been picked from 80,000 entrants!
My current kitchen dates from the 60s and my best friend has said “it’s retro, but not in a good way”.
So if you are unsure who your favorite is, please take a look at my entry. I would appreciate any help I can get.
Thanks!
Michelle
