Fasten your seat-belts and hold on! Available on DVD this September 14th is Turbo Dogs – Volume 1. Turbo Dogs is a TV program for preschoolers aged 4-7, which airs weekdays on CBC at 7:15 and 11:45 {check the program guide for a full listing}.
The upcoming Turbo Dogs – Volume 1 DVD has 7 episodes full of fun, adventure and laughter. It’s cars meets canines with characters; Dash, GT, Strut, Stinkbert, Clutch and Mags in the town of Racerville.
And it’s true that any child that is a dog-lover, and likes fast cars – will enjoy these episodes. My kids like the fast paced antics and I enjoy the message that winning isn’t the most important aspect, and that friends stick together and help each other out.
Turbo Dogs, created by the producers of Veggie Tales and 3-2-1 Penguin is an adaptation of the picture book called ‘Racer Dogs by Bob Kolar. Since it’s debut, and after gaining kids’ attention and admiration, Turbo Dogs has won many awards such as the 2009 Parents Choice Award and the Dove Family Seal of Approval. S
DVD synopsis:
Dash, Mags, GT, Strut, Stinkbert and Clutch are the town’s Turbo Dogs and although they may be fierce competitors on the track and let’s face it, celebrities in the town of Racerville, they always (well almost always) try to remember that winning isn’t everything. While kids are sure to get caught up in the action-packed storylines and non-stop antics, an emphasis on team work will also see that they zoom away with some rules for the road.
