I had always thought that I has good dental hygiene. Well, that is until I visit the dentist and she asks, “Are you flossing every day?” To be perfectly honest, I don’t floss very often at all. One reason I don’t is that I was never reminded as a child or teen – so it’s not a habit now in my adult years. As well, my teeth are way too close together, and flossing for me is very painful and not easily done {all the more reason to do it though, right?}.
Yet, other than flossing, I do believe I score high points when it comes to brushing. And, my kids, even the Twin Toddlers do brush without argue, at least twice a day. Yet, for their own dental health and forming great oral hygiene habits, I would like to lead by example and start taking even better care of my teeth – and that includes flossing and using a rinse.
Great timing too, since I received the Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse, as part of a campaign from Mom Central. I will be using this rinse for the next few weeks, and then report back to you on my thoughts. I promise to use it faithfully, since the Crest Pro-Health Rinse has some really great benefits:
- Re-builds enamel
- Helps prevent cavities
- Cleans teeth & gums
- Kills bad breath germs
- Freshens breath
- Without the burn of alcohol
The Crest Pro-Health Complete Rinse is supposed to provide a more complete clean, when compared to just brushing alone. Now, since I just fully admitted to my lack of flossing – I technically place all of my dental health onto brushing alone. Yet as I see my enamel weakening, I realize that brushing a few times a day may not cut it. Maybe you have to make a point to take that extra step? I’m interested in seeing the results of this campaign!
And, one bottle has a Suggested Retail Price of $4.59 (500mL) $5.89 (1L).
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Crest and received products necessary to facilitate my candid review.

We’re the same. I don’t floss every day. For a while before the wedding I did (and my dentist LOVED it)…but now I’m back into my bad habits. Same reason, never did it growing up. I love this product though, and the toothpaste!
