2010 Popsicle Soccer Club | Backyard Soccer Party

www.myorganizedchaos.net,My girls love a nice cool Popsicle on a hot summers’ day. OK, I admit, even I love a Popsicle on a summers’ day any day too. Not only do Popsicles cool a person down the heat, but they also bring back wonderful memories of the younger years. It’s one of those things I like sharing with my kids, and I know just like I did – they are creating wonderful memories too. Yet, many more kids will have a different kind of Popsicle memory this summer – as Popsicle is sponsoring over 20,000 Canadian minor soccer players {that’s over 1,200 soccer teams across Canada}. The kids’ soccer club in my very own city is being sponsored by Popsicle! Through the 2010 Popsicle Soccer Club, the company is promoting skill development, friendship, achievement and of course, summer fun!

Thanks to Popsicle, my family got a load of soccer equipment and many boxes of Popsicle treats so that we could have our own back yard soccer party, just like the kids in the 2010 Popsicle Soccer Club. Inside was the equipment needed to have a great soccer game – including a pro soccer ball, Adidas gloves, pylons, BIOS H2O water bottles {which are sturdy and a great design!}, Tommy Hilfiger Towels {nice!}, temporary tattoos, and a T-shirt for a parent/coach – and it all came in a fantastic Outbound sports bag.

www.myorganizedchaos.net,The kids had a blast at their mini soccer game, they really got into it more with the ‘official’ equipment. Even my daughter, who isn’t that big into sports {I think she is literally afraid of breaking a nail} has played soccer everyday since we received our equipment. The kids didn’t technically keep score, but instead tried to see how many goals they could get past each other. And, they encouraged and congratulated each other on a job well done. You never know, maybe this will be a new athletic start for my girl. And, possibly soon she’ll stop requesting to wear skirts while she’s playing too. Hey, she hasn’t commented on the soccer ball not being pink yet, it’s a good sign!

After their game, the kids had some Popsicles and talked about the fun they had. I’m sure it’s a day they won’t soon forget – making the memories already! Their favorite was the SNOW CAPS Popsicle, the tips of each taste like Lemonade! And, as we all know Lemonade is a summertime score! I’m really happy that Popsicle started their summer soccer club, I fully appreciate companies that give back, and go the extra mile when it comes to supporting kids and their achievements.

And, fellow Canadians – here’s a frugal savings tip for you! Popsicle rep’s will be doing in-store product demonstrations, and will be handing out samples and coupons across Canada! Check when Popsicle samples and coupons will be available in your area. I know I’ll be there!

    I tried a Strawberry Banana popsicle a couple times and loved it! But it doesn’t seem to come in the regular boxes 🙁

    My Son loves BAllS!!! So this Giveaway is suburb!!! He is now getting into running and kicking them! We sat a attempted to watch the children in our neighborhood play soccer, and well he just wanted to be among other kids that were playing. So when he’s older that will be a sport we will sign him up for !!! Awesome giveaway!!!!
