Kushies Swimsuit Diaper

I realized while on our Family Vacation to Mexico that I was using way too many disposable swim diapers. Sure, many of them were greatly needed, if you know what I mean. Yet usually they just became wet and were then thrown away, and I couldn’t help to think what a waste it was. I was being sent a Kushies Swim Diaper for review, yet unfortunately it didn’t arrive before I left the country. I sure could have used it there, yet my kids love the water and whether in Mexico or home – there is always a need for swim diapers {especially with summer coming}!

Kushies Swim diapers are indeed an economical and environmentally friendly alternative to disposables. They have a printed printed nylon soft outer shell, I got the Daisy Print Design of Swimdiaper. The diaper is fully lined with mesh and has a cotton terry crotch liner to provide softness and some absorbency. I like that this diaper has an adjustable waist with ties, since it allows it to be used longer than others for specific sizes. And, the wrap design, as you see from the picture, allows for very easy changes. Have you ever tried to put on or take off a wet swim diaper? It’s quite the slippery struggle! This makes changing so simple, and more comfortable on baby too. As well, I really like that the diaper is long, since I have had others sit too low on the bums {causing an explosion upwards}. The Kushies swim diaper comes in 4 sizes from 6-50 lbs and in a nice array of designs and colors for both boys, girls and ones for unisex too.

I like Kushies because it’s available for purchase online, or at my own local Babies R Us. So regardless, they are available to just about anyone. And, they have other great items to prepare you little cutie for warm weather, including sunglasses, swimsuits, and pool shoes!

Disclosure: I was provided with product to facilitate this review post, opinions are my own.
