Earth Day Books from Scholastic Canada

www.myorganizedchaos.net,

Celebrating Earth Day and spreading awareness can come as simple as reading. Scholastic Canada offers a great selection of Earth Day books, and all assist in teaching and sharing great ways to cherish our planet and live in a earth conscious way. One such activity book is Good Growing.

www.myorganizedchaos.net,This book is full of kid-tested and kid-tasted projects that will spark and cultivate lifelong gardeners. There are many gardening activities can be done year-round, in all type of climates, whether you have a sunny windowsill or a backyard as big as baseball field. The book comes with a selection of ready-to-plant seeds and two custom-designed Super Sprouters, engineered to get those seeds growing within days.

Since I have a interest in gardening, I am happy that my daughter has shown interest and gardens right along with me. Yet, it’s important for kids to know that it serves more of a purpose than ‘looking pretty’. Planting gardens, trees and vegetables is a way to give back to earth, learn how things grow and a way to just say ‘Thanks’.
