The Princess and the Frog DVD Review

www.myorganizedchaos.net,I already posted my giveaway for The Princess and the Frog 3 Disc Combo {DVD/ Blu-Ray/Digital}, yet I wanted to share our review of this movie as well. We had a star studded party for our viewing – my daughter had a friend over and we made ice cream sundaes for the movie.

Synopsis:
The setting is New Orleans where a beautiful girl named Tiana (ANIKA NONI ROSE), is a waitress and talented cook has dreams of opening her own restaurant. She and a prince are turned into frogs, by VooDoo magic. They meet many friends on their way through bayous of Louisiana, while seeking for a way to be human again.

We really liked The Princess and the Frog movie, there wasn’t a break to be had during the whole thing. The kids were in stitches the entire time, laughing at the hilarious antics of the characters. My daughter liked Tiana the best {big surprise}, and enjoyed the songs in the movie. Her friends’ favorite character was the Prince, he said that Prince Naveen had much more of a realistic and humorous personality as compared to Prices of Disney past. My thoughts on that? Well, call me old fashioned, but I still prefer a flawless prince charming myself 😉 Overall it was a wonderful movie that we all enjoyed, and I know it’ll be enjoyed by my girls many times over int he future.

www.myorganizedchaos.net,We weren’t the only ones ringing in The Princess and the Frog in style, this last weekend there was a star-studded red carpet crowning event for Princess Tiana of Disney’s The Princess and the Frog. A host of celebrity guests {and their kids} watched Tiana being officially crowned the ninth member of the beloved Disney Princess Royal Court. The magical ceremony took place in the Grand Ballroom at the historic New York Palace in Manhattan. In attendance were www.myorganizedchaos.net,celebs such as Tina Fey, Kelly Rutherford, Audra McDonald, Melissa Joan Hart, and Nigel Barker, Brent Zachary, and Alesandra Ambrosio. Also there was voice talents from the film Jenifer Lewis (“Mama Odie”), Jennifer Cody (“Charlotte”) and Michael Leon Wooley (“Louis”) and of course the nineth princess couldn’t be crowned without the others there to celebrate too! Disney Princess’ Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, and Snow White were there as well.

Here are some clips of the celebrities taking the event:
