Scentsy Candles come to Canada!

Scentsy is a candle company that was once available to only US residents. Which was too bad, since they seem to be all the rage amongst scented candle users. I am happy to see that in October 2009, Scentsy candles has expanded into Canada. Which is great news, since Scentsy provides scented wickless candles and home fragrance products {and some for travelling and the car too!}.

Scentsy scented candles are paraffin candle chunks that are burned in their own signature warmers which come in such fabulous designs. I received the Sand Dollar Plug-In Warmer, the color and design of this decorative candle is just my style too. This warmer plugs in and has an on/off switch, which not only melts the wax by low watt bulb {safer than flame}, but also illuminates a beautiful glow as well. I was sent 3 wonderful scents for the warmer – Baked Apple Pie, Beach and Hemingway. Each Scentsy Bar comes with 6 blocks of wax. I popped out one Baked Apple Pie chunk and turned on the warmer. I was shocked with, after 5 minutes, the entire house was filled with a delicious scent. With all my other warmers and wax, it took hours for it to produce that kind of odor and it was usually short-lasting. With Scentsy candles, I turn on the warmer for one hour in the morning, and one hour mid-afternoon. This is enough to keep the entire house smelling great all day long.
I am so impressed!

And, there is a pretty neat way to switch scents with Scentsy as well. You simply pour the melted wax from warmer to container, wipe out the warmer of any residue, and pop in a new block or two. Doing this prolongs use, will save money and allow you to switch scents very easily. And, please note that the next time you use the same blocks, it’ll smell just as great. To order Scentsy in the US or Canada, you can seek out a local rep from the website {or, you can become a consultant yourself!} I have been working with Mary Middleton from Scentsy, and she has been both helpful and knowledgeable. She is US based, but Canadians can still order from her as well! Just click the flag at the top right of the page, to see your desired currency.

The Scentsy Bars are $6.00 CDN {or 3 Bars for $17 CDN}, which is a great price for such quality. Dare I say it’s a cheap candle? Of course cost wise – certainly not in quality! And, there are pages and pages of scents to choose from as well. I think once you try Scentsy wickless candles, you’ll become a fan. Personally, I know I will be a regular customer of Scentsy from this point on!
