Shoefly is a Canadian company from Halifax, NS (ohh…it’s officially Eastern-Canada Day here on My Organized Chaos!). The company was started by a Mom, who’s search for shoes for her daughter, turned into a shoe obsession. Now, that I can imagine!
So, what does that means for us? Well, here’s a great online shop that features the best in children’s footwear, and it’s Canadian. That means that Canadians can benefit from the prices in our own dollar.
The Shoefly site is really easy to navigate, you can search for shoes by age or brand. All sizing information is listed, and customer service is just a click away.
This generous Mompreneur sent me a pair of Jack and Lily shoes for review. I am a big fan of the Canadian company, Jack and Lily – so I was really excited. They are the Jack and Lily (My Shoe) Saddle. This flexible soled Mary-Jane style shoe is gorgeous, with it’s black and white detailing. It is made of high-quality and (and such soft) leather, it’s a beautiful shoe for any little girl. I could not be more pleased with this shoe. Best of all, this is one of ShoeFly’s many shoes that qualify for free shipping within Canada (spend at least $50 in the shoes marked ‘free shipping’, to qualify)
I was also sent a set of pink Sock-Ons. I hadn’t heard of them before, so the idea itself really intrigued me. They are elasticized ‘socks’ that go on top of their usual socks (yet there is a hole for the toes). Voila!, the socks stay on and don’t slide off and cannot be pulled off. I think these are wonderful, because I always had to put tighter socks girls to keep them on (and in the cooler months, socks are a must have!) Yet, they were always so tight, it left marks around their wee ankles. I would have loved to have Sock-Ons when they were first born, it’s a product that I think every parent could use.
