Picaflor Kids is back for a second time on My Organized Chaos, and I welcome them back with open arms. I have really come to adore these cute and colorful knit clothes made for kids from preemie right through to 7/8 years.
Picaflor means “hummingbird” in Spanish and their motto is ‘for busy little wings’. Which I think definitely fits the kids in this house. This clothing is both stylish and unique, they use some of the most vibrant colors i have seen .They use small-scale production in Peru for their rayon clothing, to ensure for quality pieces. Since Rayon is made from recylcled wood pulp, it’s environmentally friendly. As well, Picaflor Kids gives a percentage of their profits to support the children’s charities of Peru.
Picaflor Kids sent Isabelle the Erica Sleeveless Dress, which is now my favorite product from this company. It is a bold and strong teal color with adorable little flowers on the neckline and hem. Just like last time, I am most impressed with the crochet trim that seems signature to Picaflor Kids. It is a really gorgeous dress (with a lovely sheen) that is comfortable in the summer and will be ideal well into the fall.
The Twins each got the Yaya Puff Romper, an adorable one-piece outfit that is great for babies. There are two colors to choose from for this Romper, the berry and the mint. Normally I would prefer one color or the other, but I do like them both. The sleeveless design makes it a great choice for summer. And being made out of Rayon, it’s a hypoallergenic and absorbent fabric too (Take note, the Yaya Puff Romper is on sale right now!)
The girls also got a new item from Picaflor kids. they now have toys! Made with the same care and attention, and in the same gorgeous material as the clothes – it’s Crunchy the Elephant! (who is not really crunch, but so soft!) There is great detail on this toy, and it has become a loved companion for the twins. You can certainly tell it’s handmade, and I think that’s why I like it the most.
