Lands’ End Swimsuits

Lands’ End is an online and catalogue ‘department’ store. I think of it that way, because there are all sorts of products available from clothing for the whole family, to furniture and bedding. What makes Lands’ End stand out is that they are a direct merchant, meaning they deal with the manufacturers personally. This eliminates the middleman, and thus, the dreaded markups. I have admired Lands’ End for a long time, seeing so much that it has to offer (and thus lots that I would like to have)

It’s beautiful and 27C these days (not complaining at all, as compared to the -40C it was this winter) The time of year to find that perfect swimsuit! When I look in stores for a new swimsuit for Isabelle, I see only the latest craze in popular characters. And, I’m frugal – I’ll be passing this down to 2 other princesses in 4 years. In the future, the girls may not like the characters of today – so I try to keep clothes simple, yet classic. I strengthen my odds of it being used down the line! (plus everything Sleeping Beauty gets so annoying to me!)

Land’s End sent Isabelle one of their swimsuits to review. It’s the Girls’ Scrunchback Tankini, in the Bright Raspberry Tie Dye pattern. The 2 piece style comes in a fabric that is labelled ‘quick dry’, which I had to test myself. I soaked down this swim suit and another, and set them in the sun. Sure enough, the Land’s End suit dried the fastest! Go figure! The fabric is also 50 SPF, which makes this protective Mom happy. I like the scrunched back, it keeps the straps up. Most of the tops on her 2 pieces are pretty short. The Srunchback Tankini has a longer top, which keeps her covered perfectly. She likes this swimsuit and says it’s comfortable (and doesn’t ride up, if you know what I mean)

There are many swimsuit styles available at Lands’ End, the Scrunchback Tankini comes in a fantastic 14 patterns. I also like the options of purchasing this Tankini in ‘Big Girl’ ‘little Girl’, ‘slim’ and ‘toddler’, and also ‘regular’ and ‘slim’.We are so picky with our suits, little gals need the same comfort and great fit too!
