Bamboobino

Bamboobino is the creation of a Canadian Mompreneur in Vancouver. It was created because of the the 2 biggest reasons why I personally love Bamboo fabric: it is the softest, most practical fabric and the least damaging (to humans and to the environment). I love that Bamboobino products are all made, sourced and supplied through local companies. Purchasing through this company means that you are supporting a family-owned business and also local producers.

Because Bamboo is such a soft and cuddly material; a focus on bath, bedding and clothing is obvious, which is what bamboobino does. After the bath, and when sleeping is my ideal time to snuggle the babies in luxury! It is also proven that Bamboo is more absorbent than cotton, and contains porous fibres that draw excess moisture from the skin. And because it’s grown pesticide and fertilizer free, and does the least damage to the environment and its inhabitants, it’s a top choice for consumers and the earth.

I received the signature Bamboobino product, the Bamboo After-Bath Hat for Baby. I have Bamboo clothing for myself and know how soft and decadent the fabric is. So having Bamboo against babies’ skin is perfect. Putting this hat on my babies’ heads after a nice bath – keeps them warm and cozy. It’s a great size for newborns and beyond, this item will have months and months of use. And being hypoallergenic. Bamboo fabric is the smart choice for babies with sensitive skin, such as mine.

I use the Bamboo After-Bath Hat, of course after baths. But, it’s going to be especially nice when the weather gets colder again (ya, I mentioned it. But, it’s inevitable!), and for getting out of the pool this summer. It’s an item that I do wish I had when my girls were first born. For this reason, I think it would make a wonderful shower gift! (And if you are looking to give more than this fabulous hat, there are so many other great items on the site as well!)
