When I first saw clothing by abe jones, I had to take a double look. I thought the designs for little ones looked fabulous! The label was made about 4 years ago in San Francisco, when Janel and Amy started sewing patches of fabric onto Amy’s daughters’ clothing. The duo made a lasting impression by taking their creations to a trunk show…and the rest is history.
I received the adorable Cotton Smock Top, in the berry color. I requested a size 6 for Isabelle, which fits perfectly and will still fit most likely until winter. The printed fabric detail around the neck gives this shirt added style and a touch of flair. There is a slight bell sleeve, which makes it fun. A very light top, ideal for summer days (and nights). Kind of hippy meets urban trendsetter, the Smock top represents a carefree style.
From bubble skirts to comfortable loungewear, there are so many items at abe jones that I would love to have for my girls. I even stop and look at the boys’ items too, and I rarely do that when shopping. Can you just imagine a little stylish abe jones girl paired with a hip and cool abe jones boy? Now that’s a match made in fashion heaven!
