One thing we all do when outside, is wear sunglasses. I have many pairs myself, and consider them my outdoor staple. Kids need the same protection from the sun, just like adults do. Eyes Cream Shades is a company that brings fashion and fun to kids’ eye wear. Made for children 6 Months +, they offer stylish designs while maintaining a priority on safety.
My daughter was excited beyond belief to receive 3 pairs of Eyes Cream Shades to try out. A self-proclaimed princess and fashionista, she loves accessories just as much as clothes. Eyes Cream Shades has categories of sunglasses based on style and age. Isabelle immediately took a liking to the Strawberry Ice, a ‘Fashion Frenzy’ pair that features a clear frame with pink stripes. (Which she insisted on taking to Show and Tell at school) She also got the Strawberry Grape Swirl, which is a 2 toned frame with a hint of shimmer. The Vanilla Frame is the one I like the best (out of the 3), as they look like a wrapped version which I have for myself. And that’s exactly what I like best about the look of Eyes Cream Shades, they are a pint sized look of adult favorites.
Each frame has a different style and fit, but all 3 that she was sent fit her very well. Though they aren’t the baby sizes, I couldn’t resist tryng them on the Twins. A little big, bit they looked great! And I was surprised that Sophia never even attempted to take them off. (A diva in the making!)
Eyes Cream Shades look and feel like my more expensive brands, with a sturdy design and great quality. The 3 pairs have been dropped on our tile floor countless times (KIDS!), and they show no signs of wear or damage.
So, they look great. But sunglasses have to beyond the ‘Awwee’ factor. Eyes Cream Shades come with polycarbonate lenses (not plastic!), which block virtually 100% of the UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. They protect the eyes against degeneration, cataracts and cancer. My daughter spends all day out in the summer sun, and research says that 80% of sun exposure occurs before age 18. So, there’s lots of potential for harm to their eyes. Since she loves sunglasses so much (and wants to wear them) it’s my duty to ensure she has quality and approved pairs which are safe.
