In the quest to beautify little ones’ toes, you will find Rileyroos. Their online store features footwear for boys and girls for ages 3-24 months (2.5-8 US sizing). Why this age? At this time in their lives, babies learn to move, crawl and walk. And to protect their feet, shoes are needed. But, to avoid the weight of some shoes and the difficulty that the presence of shoes might create , Rileyroos has provided a design that helps rather than hinders movement.

Based on European design trends and combined with a North American spirit, Rileyroos embraces a fashionable shoes made for growth and exploration. The sole of the shoes features a curved toe, enabling crawlers and early walkers the leverage and ease of movement. This crucial feature is standard on all their styles – boots, shoes and sandals.

I was able to review the girls’ Sportie pair in the color Chocolate Berry. This sneaker-style of shoes comes in 9 fabulous colors. In fact, all of Rileyroos styles have an array of color combinations to choose from. Which is great for those that want to coordinate or have a couple of pairs in different colors. These handcrafted shoes were designed to imitate barefoot walking, they have have a flexible leather sole with rubber padding for protection. The Velcro fastening allows for lots of growth and it’s not constrictive on the feet. The entire shoe sis completely flexible and very lightweight.

Rileyroos gives back! Like other shoes companies, Rileyroos is a proud supporter of Soles For Souls. They donate their shoes for those in need, benefiting those who are without footwear. In addition, they donated 500 pairs of shoes to the University of Maryland Hospital for Children for their fundraising event. For a well-thought design, excellent color choices and for embracing the spirit of kids, I recommend Rileyroos for little go-getters everywhere.
