Giveaway Rules

**All giveaways are open to Canadian & US residents, unless stated otherwise**

Anyone can enter the giveaways you see here on My Organized Chaos.
It’s pretty simple and straightforward, but there are some guidelines that you must follow, in order to qualify…

At the bottom of each post, you will see ‘comments‘. Clicking on this link brings up the ‘entry form’. This is also where you leave comments, suggestions, your thoughts or just a plain “Hi” on non-giveaway posts. And I do love conversation on my blog, so feel free to give me feedback on non-giveaway posts too!

Each and every giveaway has one main entry requirement, entitled, “TO ENTER:“. Follow this main entry rule as your entry. Usually, you must visit the sponsors’ website and tell me a piece of information or two from that site. So please visit. Not only does the sponsor deserve to have your visit in exchange for a chance to win their product, but it’s also fair to those who do follow the rules, and do visit the site.

Please do not copy someone else’s answer, that’s not fair either. Any copied answers from others or entries that say, “Enter me” or “Great Contest” will be deleted. And yes, I do moderate my comments. As well, there is a one entry per person/household rule. And, odds of winning are based on the amount of entries received.

The ‘To Enter‘ phrase is just the main {required entry}, yet you do have extra ways to earn more entries and this is listed in the ‘For Extra Entries’ section. Please leave separate comment for each entry that you qualify for. For instance, if you subscribe to my blog and are a fan on Facebook, you get 2 extra entries into the giveaway – so leave 2 separate comments after your main comment.

As the host of these giveaways, I follow the rules and play fair as well. With each giveaway I state who is eligible to enter, along with an end date to the contest.

When the giveaways is over, I use random.org to select the winner{s}. I then announce the winners here on  My Organized Chaos, and also email them as well. All winners have 72 hours to reply to my email or a new winner will be drawn.

And, I do let winners know when I receive their emails. So, If you don’t hear back from me, chances are I never got your email. I understand, with spam blockers, emails sometimes get lost. This is why I will send out a reminder email or two if I don’t hear from a winner. Plus, I am not an unreachable person. If you think that your emails aren’t getting through to me, please comment on a non-giveaway post, message me on the My Organized Chaos Facebook Fanpage wall, or contact me on Twitter. There are multiples ways to reach me. In the event that I don’t hear back from a winner within those 72 hours {via any means at all}, a new winner will be drawn.

If you see that you have won and haven’t heard from me, feel free to send me off an email.
I don’t bite. If it wasn’t you, I will tell you!
