Anyone can enter the giveaways you see here on My Organized Chaos.
It’s pretty simple and straightforward, but there are some guidelines that you must follow, in order to qualify…
I currently use Rafflecopter to host and moderate giveaways on My Organized Chaos.
Each and every giveaway has one main and mandatory entry requirement which will include commenting on that post. If you do not complete the mandatory entries, all other extra entries thereafter become invalid.
Any comment entries that do not answer the specified question will be deleted, hense all other extra entries thereafter for that giveaway. For example, simply saying “Enter me” or “Great Contest” or “Please Pick Me” will be deleted. There is a one entry per person/household rule. Odds of winning are based on the amount of entries received.
Take note of the individual ways you can earn more entries into each giveaway, also listed on the form. Again, these are also checked to ensure a valid winner is chosen by random {rafflecopter also has a feature to randomly choose a winner when the giveaway ends and the name is then listed on the widget}.
As the host of these giveaways, I follow the rules and play fair as well. With each giveaway I state who is eligible to enter, along with an end date to the contest.
When a potential winner is randomly chosen, I notify that potential winner by email. All winners have 72 hours to reply to my email or a new winner will be drawn, yet I do try and contact such person numerous times before a re-draw is done. If all attempts to contact prove unsuccessful, I have to draw another winner, at that time forfeiting the original persons’ right to claim the prize.
I am not an unreachable person. If you think that your emails aren’t getting through to me, please comment on a non-giveaway post, message me on the My Organized Chaos Facebook Fanpage wall, or contact me on Twitter. There are multiples ways to reach me. Again, In the event that I don’t hear back from a winner within those 72 hours {via any means at all}, a new winner will be drawn.
Likewise, if you reply to a ‘winning email’ from myself and provide a mailing address outside the specified eligibility area – a new potential winner will be re-drawn immediately. For example: if the giveaway specifies ‘Canadian addresses only’ and you reside in the United States – you cannot claim said prize.
