My Twins Will Not Keep Their Diapers On!

In the battle between Motherhood and raising the Twin Toddlers, I have been had one daily battle in particular that has caused me so much frustration. Ever since that day long ago, when they had their infamous Poo Fight, this frustrating and repulsive event has unfortunately happened many times. Evidence Of Sisterly Love

After my oldest daughter caught the bus for her last day of school, this caught my attention… While waiting for her school bus, she was sitting on the stairs practicing her writing. Everyone, including myself thinks she has an accent, not at all like the family or anyone she interacts with. Very odd, but I’d describe it as a ‘Brooklin’ type of accent more than anything. When she spells, she sounds out the words as she writes. She says ‘Gils’ for ‘Girls’, so she writes ‘Gils’. I think it’s so adorable and am dreading the day when she grows out [...]

A Kindergartener No More

It seems like just yesterday that I kissed my sweet baby goodbye as she hopped excitedly onto the big yellow bus. It was her first day of Kindergarten, and though she was overflowing with excitement, this Mom was overcome with sadness. Age 5 seemed too young to venture alone, too young to walk amongst the hallways of a school. The entire year has passed, and she has grown in academics, personality and character. As a Mom, I am aware of all the brands and types of sippy cups on the market. There’s such a variety of sizes, shapes, styles, colors, characters and spouts. Which is great in itself, but for all you inventors out there – I am pleading for a new and improved sippy cup. One that would certianly save my sanity in this house of chaos….a sippy cup tracker!!! Thanks to Scholastic Canada, my daughter and I {and the giveaway winner and her sweet son} got to see Robert Munsch tell his famous stories on stage this past weekend! She went to the show equipped with her very first book, ‘Love You Forever‘ which was gifted to her the day she was born. She also chose one book, ‘Makeup Mess‘ to purchase from the lobby giftstore.
