Now Open – Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana

The buzz over this opening has been great, and I’m happy to announce that Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana is now open for travellers!

Karisma Hotels & Resorts and Viacom International Media Networks partnered to bring a five-star all-inclusive vacation property in the beautiful location of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

My family and I have been very excited for this opening for quite some time, as we will be attendance for the grand opening celebration later this week. We cannot wait to experience all that this dominican property has to offer. 

Truth is, we are no strangers to Karisma’s renowned Gourmet Inclusive® Experience. We’ve visited their Sensatori, Azul and El Dorado properties in the past – which is why Karisma Resorts is always on our radar when we travel. We haven’t yet stayed at a Nickelodeon property, so this trip is going to be exciting {and so fun!} to say the least!

What we’re most excited for, for our upcoming stay with Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana:

 

Location, Location, Location

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana is located on the golden sands of Uvero Alto beach, right next to Bavaro beach, and 60 kilometers north of Punta Cana Airport. Punta Cana is the very first tropical destination I ever visited, and the first huge vacation my husband and I ever took. My first introduction sparked a great love for Caribbean travel – and was the cause for much travel thereafter. My toes first walked in powder white sand in Punta Cana, and it’s where I first saw and swam in the ocean. Needless to say we’ve always wanted to go back, and to show my kids where their Mom first fell in love with the Caribbean. Needless to say, it’s going to be a trip for the bucket list. 

Accommodations

Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana is a beachfront resort with 208 oversized suites in seven styles designed to cater to a variety of tastes. They have intimate Pad Suites and Flat Suites to exquisite Swank Swim Up Suites.

There is also one of four exclusive, two- and three-bedroom Super Villas providing upwards of 2,200 square feet of vacationing space each, including The Pineapple, inspired by SpongeBob SquarePants’ own home in Bikini Bottom. Suites will include luxuries like free private patios, wrap-around terraces or balconies, and 24-hour in-room dining options. Plus, all guests will enjoy amenities like complimentary baby food, strollers, cribs, kids’ spa robes and baby bottle warmers for infants and toddlers.    

Nickelodeon Place 

At the heart of the resort will be the Nickelodeon Place with areas to tickle the senses of kids and adults alike, including the Aqua Nick, which my kids have been drooling over since they learned about our upcoming trip when we booked flights just a few weeks ago. I have a feel we’ll be spending a lot of our time here!

We’re also going to check out Plaza Orange where you’ll find entertainment and events, Character Central to meet Nickelodeon characters throughout the day, the Just Kiddin’ hang out for do-it-yourself Nick fun, and the Sports & Entertainment Center. My girls are going to love the daily supervised activities and programs for children 4 to 12 years old. And guys, we’ll most likely get slimed! 

Gourmet Inclusive Experience

Hands down one of the top reasons why we love to travel with Karisma Resorts, is for their Gourmet Inclusive Experience. As a Gourmet Inclusive® property, the Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana will be carefully catered to guests who value quality. Dining will be an art and a pleasure at 10 different Gourmet Inclusive® restaurants, 2 Gourmet Corners, 2 bars and lounges, and the Doppio Coffee Shop, which will offer worldly cuisine and feature the freshest and finest ingredients.

Dining options range from kid friendly to elegant. Nickelodeon Hotels & Resorts Punta Cana also includes an array of innovative and fun food and beverage options at themed restaurants that reflect the brand with unexpected colors, imaginative food samples, Slime Smoothies, and playful surprises.

Relax & Rejuvenate:

Adventures can be balanced with relaxation at the resort thanks to Vassa Spa’s herbal steam room, dry sauna, chromo therapy showers, bubble beds, whirlpool, and arctic and warm water pools. Guests will be able to escape into one of five beautifully-appointed treatment suites, couple’s suite, luxurious bridal suite, or one of five “al fresco” outdoor treatment areas for those craving a little sand with their spa. Vassa Spa’s signature “perfectly pink” treatment program will be available for young visitors. You’ll definitely find me at the spa at some point during our stay!
