Hyatt Place Los Angeles – LAX El Segundo

Earlier this month I stayed at the Hyatt Place Los Angeles while in the city on business. Located 2 miles from the LAX airport, the Hyatt Place Los Angeles is the ideal hotel for layovers, those on business or travellers who want to have easy access to attractions and businesses in both El Segundo and Los Angeles.

When staying at Hyatt Place Los Angeles, there is a free shuttle from the airport form the hours of 5am-midnight. It is in the new campus El Segundo and central to corporate offices.

The standard suite is both spacious and comfortable, providing tons of room and luxury amenities. The office desk is ample in size, providing much space to work.

Guests will enjoy the free hotel-wide Wi-Fi. There is also a living room area with comfortable couch and table, coffee maker, fridge, large sized TV with  a whopping 400 channels!

The Hyatt Place Los Angeles also has an Odds and Ends menu for guests that have forgotten some necessities at home. Some are at a small fee yet a lot are yours to borrow at no cost – like a curling iron!

I have to give Hyatt Place Los Angeles kudos for their comfortable king size beds. Normally I don’t sleep well in hotels due to hard beds and pillows which hurt my neck, with the exception of this stay! I slept soundly with no interruption of hall or outside noise, and woke up refreshed and ready to go.

Guests at Hyatt Place Los Angeles will love the complimentary free hot breakfast which includes the standard juice, coffee, toast, cereal etc. Yet, there’s also a variety of breakfast sandwiches that were delicious!

By far one of the best continental breakfasts I’ve had as well. There isn’t room service at the Hyatt Place Los Angeles, yet you can call down to order and then pick it up.

The Hyatt Place Los Angeles also has an impressive gym {open 24 hrs} and a wonderful outdoor pool that is fully wheelchair accessible {even the separate hot tub}!

When staying at Hyatt Place Los Angeles, much to do and see in the southern California area is just a short drive away. You could stay here and still visit Hollywood, Anaheim, Disneyland and Universal Studios. In very close proximity is Manhattan Beach, Marina Del Ray, Venice Beach and Malibu. Within a couple blocks {walking distance} is a small common where you’ll find Starbucks and a few restaurants.
