Turks & Caicos Islands

Our family is back from one INCREDIBLE 2 week trip to Beaches Resorts in Turks & Caicos!

I’ve wanted to visit the Turks & Caicos Islands for so long, this destination has been on tops my travel bucket list for many years. Actually, photos of the islands have been my screensaver for too many years to count – total paradise!

Yet, seeing this beauty in person … well, beyond words.

I do have so much to share about our trip in the coming weeks, yet for now, an introduction.

Want to meet the Turks & Caicos Islands?

To illustrate the intense beauty, recall the last time you looked out that plane window and seen the strip of turquoise bordering the land. That view of this water, is what makes me beam from ear to ear every time.

Now, to compare, have a peek out the plane window at the Turks & Caicos Islands before we arrived at Grace Bay Beach, on the island of Providenciales.

This is my first meeting of the islands and the view that made my jaw drop and heart stop. This aurora borealis-like view went as far as the eye could see!

{Keep in mind, this is a dirty and scratched plane window, yet I did the best I could with the photos}.

I am very fortunate to have lived and visited tropical places aplenty – but not sure any of them has been quite as pristine as this!! (Watched a fab BBC spy mystery recently which was set here – don’t think I had even heard of them before that!!!) YAM xx

  4. Let me just say WOW! Just looking at those pictures from the plane had my heart longing to actually be there with you guys! I definitely think Turks & Caicos will be added to my must-see list now, too 🙂

  9. The bottom two photos are of Chalk Sound – so pretty. TCI are our favorite place in the Caribbean. Clean, beautiful and so peaceful. I could live there:)

  10. It looks like you had an amazing vacation. I have always been a water baby and love spending the whole day in warm, turquoise water with soft sand.

  11. Incredible! That’s look like a once in a lifetime experience that would be well worth it! The color of that water..

  12. The colour of the sky and water is amazing. It is exactly like you expect Fantasy Island to look like if you were to land in it. It doesn’t look crowded and stressful, instead it looks you are landing in peace and relaxation. Definitely on my bucket list.

  13. Stunning! I’ve been to the Dominican and the Florida Keys…but that crystal clear blue water has evaded me still. What a beautiful looking destination! Love your photos!

  14. Have traveled to many islands in the Caribbean but yet to visit the Turks & Caicos only because it seems so expensive. Grace Bay definitely has to be one of the best beaches in the world! Great photos, looking forward to reading more of your posts here on this beautiful destination!

    1. It is a pricier island for sure, but it’s one of the best. We’ve talked about going back, but it would be something that would take some financial planning for sure.
