Paradise Found at Maroma Beach
During my stay at Generations Riviera Maya in Mexico last week, all the attending travel writers got to experience something beautiful.
Breathtaking, in fact.
We drove the short distance from our resort, to El Dorato Maroma {adults only resort} and the new Generations Maroma {family resort}, which is located on Maroma Beach. There we boarded a catemeran, did some snorkeling, and basked in the wonder that is Maroma Beach.
Having never been to this beach, I honestly didn’t know this gem on the Mayan Riviera existed. I mean, take a look at this – it’s almost ridiculous, right?
The various blues of these waters was amazing, the sand was like an off white flour -so incredibly soft to the touch. The water was like a warm bath and sparkled like diamonds.
Maroma Beach has been listed by many as one of the top ten beaches in the world, and I cannot argue with that. I took it all in, breathing deeply, so serene.
When I first arrived at Maroma Beach, I’m pretty sure my jaw dropped and stayed there for quite some time. If ever I get the chance to visit again, I wouldn’t hesitate. Being so close to Tulum and Chichén Itzá and being a great spot for some scuba diving – I can imagine the things to do in the area are endless.
Who’s been to Maroma Beach?

How beautiful! Much much different than our beaches of Galveston with their murky grey waters! I would so love to vacation at a place like Moroma!

Same! I must have been to Mexico a dozen times, yet didn’t know this pace existed. Goes to show what a big world it is with so many corners to explore.

Glad I’m not the only one that was all, ‘say what!?!?’ lol

Never been to Maroma -but fortunate enough to have been to many equally wonderful beaches. Nothing like that crystal water and a palm frond or many… sigh… YAM xx
Even if it’s not as stunning, I love any kind of beach! 🙂

So beautiful! I haven’t been to the Riviera Maya area in almost 10 years!
It looks so inviting. I had to look up to see where Maroma Beach was located. It looks quite a bit like the tropical island I picked for today’s post.

Yeah, that beach looks incredible. Hard to have a bad day there, I suspect!
