New Finish Power & Free Dishwasher Tabs

I’ve discussed Finish Dishwasher tabs a couple time on my blog before, since I am such a personal loyal fan. A few times in the past I’ve tried other brands of dishwasher soap, and ended up totally regretting it. Every other product leaves white film {what exactly is it? soap? I dunno…} on my dishes, which is probably up there on my ‘most annoying things ever’ list. Not so much on plates and silverware, but on plastics and my pots and pans.

I don’t have that issue at all with Finish though, so it’s the only brand I use for it’s effectiveness -and being the one that doesn’t make me swear in my kitchen while I rewash my dished by hand.

So, when Mom Central Canada told me about the all New Finish Power & Free Dishwasher Tabs and asked if I wanted to try them out – yes and yes! You see, Finish Power & Free uses Hydrogen Peroxide Action which works to combine water and active oxygen, cleaning with less harsh chemicals.

You already know that if a product doesn’t clean my dishes right the first time, I won’t continue to use it. Point blank, I don’t have time for that. So, I was eager to see if my favourite brands new line was just as effective.

Finish Power & Free looks like my tried and true favourite, with the presoaking powerball that breaks down and lifts off food and also with the power gel portion of the capsule to wash away residue and offer some shine. The difference is in the white powder which is hydrogen peroxide, which doesn’t contain bleach.

So, it looks the same, but how does it work? I’m happy to report that after using them for a couple of weeks, my dishes are coming out squeaky clean, with no residue. Meaning, I personally can’t see a difference between the clean from my usual Finish products & the new Finish Power & Free. This family of 5 challenged it to clean well or it’d get the toss, and it held it’s own {and very well might I add}. I never had to rewash or frown when I opened up my dishwasher.

Yes, I added sparkles to this photo for effect. Clean dishes {that I didn't have to wash by hand} deserve a little extra flare.

I have to admit, I’m not giving up on my Quantum & Powerball if I see a great sale {and can combine coupons}, yet will be closely watching the price of Finish Power & Free and will purchase accordingly.  The important thing to note though, is that Finish has done it again and mastered the deep clean consumers want, with the environment in mind. So, if you want to have your dishwasher, your clean dishes and use a product with less chemicals – this one is for you.

The Finish® Power & Free™ line-up of products includes Quantum®, Powerball®, and Jet-Dry®.  Check out the Finish Facebook Page for a FREE sample of the new Finish Power & Free, to try it out for yourself.
