The Perfect Sunset – Negril Jamaica

Last week I spent some time in Negril, Jamaica. It was my first time in the country and also my first at Sandals Negril Resort.

One of the first things that totally blew me away about this location, was the sunsets – unlike any I’ve ever seen before. Truly breathtaking! If you want to see the most perfect sunset, this is the place!

When the sun sets in Negril, no matter where I was or what I was doing, I stopped to take it in.

Time slowed down and I {along with everyone else}, just stood in a trace. The colours, the beauty … astounding!

  1. Oh my, I love each of those pictures of the sunset, so stunning, and yes, breathtaking is a great word to describe them. Would love to visit, not just for the sunsets, but they sure would be great to see.

    1. It was a nice perk! Usually I get sad at days end, but this just makes you smile through the evening!

  2. I’m so very envious and in desperate need of a real holiday. I’m back to blogging business this week with a blog make over and a few giveaways. Still a work in progress but would really love to know what you think.

  3. Beautiful! Hope you had a wonderful vacation! I have been to Jamaica and loved it can’t wait to go back!

    1. Thank you Monica! I can’t take the credit for the beauty yet I think I captured it well!

  4. Oh snap! I love Jamaica. So jealous. Mind you I understand you have had some weather out there so I totally think that you deserved the trip.

  5. Wow! This is really breathtaking Tammi! You certainly got some beautiful shots. I must go to Negril someday. I am glad that you are enjoying my homeland. Continue to have whale of a time.

      1. Hello again Tammi,
I am from the north eastern section of the island. My parish is St. Mary and that is over 100 miles away from Negril. I really must go there someday. One of my brothers used to work in the parish of Westmoreland so he knows Negril. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your vacation and I just read your excellent review! Take care.

  6. Hi Tammi! I’m Shana from Organized Chaos! (How absolutely funny!) I see we have more in common than just our names! I absolutely love sunsets and beaches! I think these photos are beyond beautiful! Thank you for sharing them!

  7. Those are beautiful pictures. I love the crickets that start to sing in Jamaica as the sun sets (and through the night). The first time we went I thought they were tree frogs, but I have since been told they are crickets. A lovely song nonetheless 🙂
