Don’t you just love that adorable little diaper bum?
It’s been years since I’ve watched my own littles waddle around in diapers, yet it’s a baby-memory that I’ll always hold dear. Having twins, it used to seem like all I did was feed and change diapers, who knew that one day I’d kind of miss it. Well, in the cuteness sense anyway.
I knew Pampers well as I had purchased them for my kids for years, but I also got the opportunity to learn even more about the company and products when I visited the Baby Care P&G Headquarters in Cincinnati {in June 2010} for the Dry Max Session and Information Event.
So how did this frugal mama diaper twins for all those years? Simple. As soon as we learned we were expecting two bundles, I started buying diapers. And I always bought on sale combined with using coupons, something which Pampers is great for here in Canada. I also took advantage of in-store rewards, like Shoppers Drug Mart Optimum points. I’d buy on bonus point days and redeem on bonus redemption days.
As well, I saved the Gifts to Grow points, redeeming for toys and an outdoor kids picnic table that I still use 5 years later. Makes me chuckle when I hear some say that buying no-name is the best value for the money, I know first hand that’s not true at all. Not in quality nor bang for the buck. With some smart shopping, diapering down’t have to take the bulk of the monthly budget.
Yet wouldn’t it be nice if diapers were provided for you, for one whole year…..
