How could you NOT love the appetizer recipe, Mexican Fiesta Dip? It’s a dip that is hearty and comforting, kind of like a whole meal on it’s own. In fact, sometimes I want to make this for dinner and nothing else.
Smothered with cheese, that Mexican taste and so popular with guests, it’s one dip that I love to snack on. Serve it alone, or combine with other appetizer recipes for your family or when entertaining {game night, maybe?}. Best served with nacho chips for dipping, or you can spread this cheesy goodness on crispy baguettes – YUM!!
Psst, It gets points for easy too, which is always welcome with me!
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 can Stagg chili
- ½ jar Salsa {more if you wish}
- 2 cups Cheese, shredded {your choice: cheddar, 4 cheese italian, monterey jack}
- Spread layer of cream cheese in a 8×10 baking dish
- Add a layer of Chili on top
- Add layer of Salsa
- Layer of cheese
- Bake 350 degrees for 20 min, serve hot
.

It’s sooo good!
That makes me want a bag of Fritos to dip in there! stumbled!
Good idea Scarlet! Thanks for stumbling!
I read your recipe to my husband (who’s Hispanic) and he told me to tell you that it sounds delicious. I have to agree. But would I be crazy to say that you recipe made me think of lasagna?! I think it’s the fact that you put things down in a layer and bake them.
I really wish that as of tomorrow I wasn’t “back on the wagon”. This sounds a perfect comfort food for the winter.
This looks and sounds delicious. My husband will love it. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for putting that handy ‘print’ option with this recipe. I just bought what I need to make this and if I can wait, I’ll make it for New Year’s Eve.
