Fisher-Price 2012 Holiday Toy Guide

As a Fisher-Price Play Ambassador {#FisherPriceMoms}, my kids were able to receive various Fisher-Price toys throughout the year. Here we are at years’ end and gift guides and ‘what to gift’ is the hottest topic. So, I’ve been thinking about which one Fisher-Price toy would be our top choice, from all the ones we received in 2012.

Truth is, that’s one hard decision, since there’s so many toys that my girls love and would choose as their own favorites. So, I actually made a Top 3 List over at FisherPricePlay.ca, and even picking those 3 wasn’t the easiest of tasks. Yet, after much deliberation, I narrowed it down…

 Fisher-Price 2012 Holiday Toy Guide!

Not surprisingly, the Power Wheels Barbie Cadillac Escalade Custom Edition made the #1 spot. Even though it’s a seasonal toy {for us in Alberta, anyway}, the girls ride as much as they possibly can.

The first time they could barely stay on the sidewalk and now they are able to steer and drive all over the place. It’s really paved the way for balance, coordination and even helped with leaning to rides bikes. And c’mon, it’s just a ton of fun!

The girls were able to test drive other Power Wheel vehicles on our trip with the Fisher Price Mom Ambassadors, aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise. From sports cars to all-terrain trucks, the girls loved the chance to try others in the Power Wheels lineup. With a handful of other kids, they made new friends and had a wonderful time, bonding over 4 wheels.

Seeing the girls bliss along with many kids playing that day, was amazing. Carefree, hilariously great times – isn’t that what being a kids all about?

Over the past few years we debated on getting the girls a motorized vehicle, and I see now that it’s totally worth it. Fisher-Price Powerwheels are durable, and I’ve actually only had to charge the battery a few times this Summer. I’m very impressed with the quality!

Yet, like I said before, it was very hard to make this list. Others that I would recommend to others as being fabulous Fisher-Price products for 2012?

  2. Loving Family Grand Dollhouse
  3. Disney Princess Song Palace Playset

Now with a 6 year old and 2 year old granddaughters, it’s time to get my butt back in the “know” of kids toys. My own kids are now 19-27 – so yeah I’m a bit out of the loop. But what I do remember from my children as children are such brands like Fisher-Price that have stood the test of time.
Thank you for the holiday toy guide :)

    • Tammi says:

New toys and the classics, there’s great ones out there. Perhaps you still even have some Fisher-Price toys from when your kids were young? Nice to know that there’s a brand that’s still as popular and educational year after year!
Thanks for visiting Christine, Merry Christmas to you and your family!

  8. Paul T/Pauline T says:

I love your number one pick. My daughter has been hounding us to get her one but we have not been able to due to budget constraints so we are searching for giveaways for toys similar to it —– Paul T/Pauline T aka Paul Tran ….. emscout9 at Hotmail dot com

  9. Fisher Price stores last from generation to generation, they are such fine quality!
Once upon a time having your own real small motorized vehicle when you were a child was only a dream and now it has become a reality.

  10. Ingrid says:

Fisher Price keeps coming out with better and better things every year! My kids would go crazy for one of those Power Wheel vehicles!
