Favorite Things

Way too often I walk into the store or browse a Shopping site, all with great ‘me’ intentions. It never fails though, within seconds I decide to ‘just check out the kids section’. Curiosity gets me real good and then BOOM, I forget all about me and my favorite things, and end up with a Shopping cart full of stuff for the kids.

Case and point, the ‘wish list’ for myself this year. Bet you can’t guess the #1 thing that I asked from my family….

An electric pencil sharpener. And socks.

In my defense I sharpen way too many crayons in this house to be legal, and it would make my life easier. There’s the hand cramps, the cursing at the dull manual thing we got free with the last box of pencils … I really do hope I get that electric sharpener.

Yet, is that really the best I could come up with? If anything, shouldn’t that have been added to the KIDS’ wish-list while I got a bottle of wine to enjoy while THEY sharpen their pencils…

We ladies should really should think of just ourselves from time to time. Treat ourselves, spoil ourselves. And yes, Shop FOR you.

This time, it’s all about moi! Oh yeah, I like it already!

So, I had some fun recently and browsed my favorite online Shop for Canadians – SHOP.CA. Lets’ call it, ‘Mission Me’.

I actually haven’t owned a bottle of Euphoria since running out around this time last year. After wearing other scents all year long, I crave a trip down memory lane and a visit with an old friend.

Back to my love of all things photo, I can’t help but to drool on my keyboard when I see the CANON EOS-5D MK III W/ EF 24-105 IS. It’s THE camera {bowing down}, and while I don’t think it’ll make it’s way to my stocking this year, I keep my eye on this baby. It’s gotta go on sale sometime!
