Baby Alive, Baby Wanna Walk

She’s so cute, and my twins love the other dolls in the Baby Alive collection. I was excited to give them the Baby Wanna Walk Doll, she’s got some pretty impressive features.

Like the product title would lead, she walks! And, the teetering and tottering little steps are adorable, how I remember those days well. ok, they’re kinda blurry, but I remember the emotion well.

At first the girls were thrilled, watching her walk and playing ‘Mom’ and having her walk to them. It really is sweet and genuine to see my twins take on such a loving and caring role with their babies, kind of like when Isabelle cheered them on when the twins took their first steps.

Yet, at 4.5 years old, I have to admit that the adoration of the ‘walking’ aspect of this Baby Alive doll faded rather fast with my twins. They dressed her and played with her, yet had her walking less and less with each passing day. While it’s not a bad thing at all to love a baby, and they do play with her often. Yet, it’s too bad that they lost a lot of the interest in her ‘walking’ as soon as they did.

Baby Wanna Walk is recommended for ages 3+ and I think that’s very accurate. Gift it for ages 3 and 4 and you’ll get the most bang for the buck. Speaking of, she has an ARV of $59.99, yet it’s on sale right now at Toys R Us for $44.95.
