Know what I adore? Discovering a way to lessen the stress, add some ease and creating some order to my usual chaotic life. Like with my Hamilton Beach Skillet.
Sometimes it’s using the perfect product that does the trick. And boy, did I ever find THE one for cooking, for the masses or even for my family of 5.
This Premiere Cookware electric skillet has a glass lid that allows for viewing of the food as it cooks, without having to lift the lid and thereby losing the steam or heat. And, with the nonstick finish, cleaning up afterwards is a breeze. In the summer, take it outside or cook without heating the entire house. Yet no matter the season, the Premiere Cookware Skillet heats faster and cooks more evenly than a pan on the stove.
When cooking for many people, or for a lot of cooking like entertaining or for the holidays, it saves space, especially to make room for other things that need to be cooked on the stove. Away from the usual place of chaos {always the stove} it can be plugged in anywhere!
I use mine most on weekends for brunches, most recently I cooked hash-browns in it. Before I’d use a pan on the stove only to spill the contents over the edge when stirring, until the bits cooked down in size. The Hamilton Beach Premiere Cookware Skillet is a deep 12 x 16 inches, so there’s plenty of room to cook without mess.
Same goes for cooking stroganoff, a one-pan recipe that only the size of this skillet can master. I’ve been hearing that some people even cook cakes {yes, cakes} in their electric skillets, I must try it soon just to believe it’s possible.
Plus, this particular Skillet has two of the best features I’ve seen
- Lid latches into pan for easy pouring and storage
- Built-in spout makes it easy to save or discard drippings and broth
Being a non-stick pan, the clean up is a breeze. Really, I could not ask for more in a kitchen appliance. I know I’ll use it more and more during the holidays, especially when I want to make larger bathes and freeze half of the meal.
