Disney Princess My Fairytale Adventure for Wii

One of my girls’ most-requested video game to play these days is Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure. Girly girls from toe to heart, those famous princesses we all know well truly capture my kids’ attention like none other.

Which is why they went head over high heels for the new Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure, where players can literally be apart of the princess worlds! Side note: We also own last years’ edition of Disney Princess for the Wii and it’s still going strong and popular in my house. Given this familiarity, they started playing with no hesitation.

In “Disney Princess: My Fairytale Adventure”, players will take on the role of an apprentice to the Fairy Godmother and will accidentally set off a series of events that cause friendly Sprites to transform into mischievous Imps.  The chaotic Imps make their way into the worlds of Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel and Tiana, and players must pursue the Imps into each Princess kingdom to prevent them from causing any harm.  With the use of their magic wand, they’ll need to turn the Imps back into their original Sprite form, and return them to their rightful home in the Magical Kingdom.

My daughter {8 years old} especially liked that she was able to customize the characters look such as attire. Yet she also decorated her room and planted seeds in the garden. My oldest finished the entire game in no time, and no, she doesn’t play for hours a day. She quickly learned all the secret spots where gems are held to buy new dresses. A girls gotta do, right?

Yet, I love that my twins {4 years old} are able to play this game, one of the few that they need just a little assistance with, mostly for a few of the games. The paths in the game are lighted, to show the way, so they don’t usually get lost or frustrated when playing. This is completely opposite for Mario Cart by the way, they are ‘circle drivers’, so this is something they play very well. The twins also love changing dresses and tending to the garden just like their older sister.

Rated E for everyone, this game is now available for the Wii™ console and Nintendo 3DS™ for a suggested retail price of $39.99 and for the Windows PC/Mac for a suggested retail price of $29.99.

This would be one of my TOP picks for a video game for girls. Yet boys might like it too, a nice change from the ‘swordplay’ games. I know, I’m doing a lot of assuming here, but I’m going by the boys and girls I know. Regardless, if any child likes Disney Princesses this is the game for them this Christmas!
