Meeting Justin Bieber
Earlier this month, my daughter and I were invited to attend the Justin Bieber ‘Believe Tour’ concert in Edmonton, Alberta. With a chance at meeting him. My daughter is a Justin fan, so how could I not accept?
The concert was great, he really put on a great show, as did his opening, Carly Rae Jepsen {Call Me Maybe}. Lights, confetti, fire and tons of dancing. We knew our moves to Bieber’s new song ‘Beauty and a Beat’ feat. Nicki Minaj, thanks to practice on Just Dance 4.
Belle and I had so much fun together, a wonderful mom and daughter date night.
Along with fabulous seats to the show, we also got Meet and Greet passes. As you can see in the pic, she’s in awe – completely stunned at the opportunity. Love it!
I really earned the Mom of the Year award for this night, and my daughter will have the best ‘my first concert’ stories.
What was your first concert?

That is so cool! While my girls aren’t JB fans, I know how much they would flip if they got to meet one of their celebrity idols. She will surely remember this mommy daughter date forever!
Ya, it was a great experience, it’s always cool to meet any celebrity – kind of a fascination of mine!
Oh how awesome. She’s going to remember and cherish this for a long, long time!
without a doubt, you win mother of the year!!
Indeed!
Yeah I think that would be mom of the year award in any girls book. Very cool you got to meet him. My kids are too young for concert, but they are boys, so not sure what their interests will be then.
Hmmm, will be interesting to see. We tried getting her tickets months and months ago, yet the prices were crazy and it sold out so quick. I guess she was meant to be there!
That is beyond neat. What a great Mom/daughter date!
What lucky girls you were
My first concert was at the Albert Hall London to see Barry White Love Unlimited & The Love Unlimited Orchestra had an amazing time 🙂
Have a fantabulosa Halloween 🙂
That sounds amazing, are you from London?
Yes have lived in central London all my life 🙂
Totally mother of the year! Happy WW! 🙂
That is very cool. Lol I think my first concert was Tim McGraw even though I’m not a country fan it wasn’t bad and I was young. I think my favorite was Cinderella…Don’t know what ya got til it’s goowooone……lol
Ha!! I went to a Garth Brooks concert just after HS. Wasn’t a fan {country isn’t my thing either}, but I love concerts regardless. Was a great time with a bunch of friends!
She will treasure that photo forever! Fab! Thanks for linking up, I’ve done the same.
Have a great week, Charlotte!
Wow, that’s SO cool, I’m sure she was over the moon!
Who is the greatest mom in the world, yaa hooo. That’s pretty incredible.
My first concert was with a local band in the center next to where the big boys performed. Loud and smoky and stinky. But we were so cool for going.
Yes! I recall many of those in College. Myself and my group of friends tried to hit every concert that came to local bars. Loud. Stinky. But good times.
What a great mom/daughter date! It’s going to be pretty hard to top meeting Justin! That’s so cool!
So fun meeting celebs!! We live just a half hour from Justin’s hometown. He is often there doing little impromptu performances, on the street, just like he used to!! Super Cool.
Connie from Sadieloohoo
That’s awesome! The drummer from some 80’s rock band lives a couple blocks away from me… can’t recall the name or band at the moment. Small world, right?
It is always good to meet a Canadian. Thanks for linking up, hope to see you again next week.
You are the best mom for taking her! You both look great! I love that you got to see him.
I’ve had three people tell me that my kids look like him when he was little. I thought, “That’s not possible.” Then I looked him up as a child. They do look like him. So funny!

Aww, you two are adorable! I guess Bieber isn’t so bad, either. ;D

I didn’t realize you were mother and daughter (not sisters or friends) at first until I really read this. Sounds like you had a great night.
Aw – you are so sweet!!!
I take it as a compliment, but I just told my daughter and she scrunched her nose. I guess being my sister isn’t a good thing…?? KIDS!!
this is awesome!
Wow, I bet she was thrilled, sounds like a fun night and I’m sure she’ll remember it forever!
After some of his comments and actions, I’m not a fan at all; but he made your little girl happy and that’s special!

Not a huge Justin Bieber fan, but that is a really cool opportunity there.
I remember my mom took me to my first concert, we went to see Stryper at Radio City Music Hall in NYC.
Aw, so sweet. Love her expression.
Isn’t that priceless? Ha!!
I also suppose she will be the envy of her friends as well!!!
Mines up as well at AussiePomm – A night at Harry’s!!!!
Have a great day!!
I absolutely LOVE this photo! Mom of the year for sure Tammi!!!
Ok, I’d be DYING of “my mom has the most awesome job in the whole world” if this happened to me when I was that age. How COOL!!
That one will be hard to top!! What a great experience.
My first concert was The Spoons, when I was 14 or 15. Love!
WOW! too cool!! My first concert was NKOTB….WAY back in the day! 🙂
Hey MINE TOO!!! lmao!!!!
Oh how fun! She definitely looks like she’s in awe!
Whaoo..so cool to be able to meet Bieber live!! I think the first concert I went to was Sammi Cheung live but have yet to get up close with any superstars 🙂
Looks like you had a lot of fun together. (I don’t know much about Justin Bieber, & I still haven’t been able to figure out why so many people dislike him! Do you know?)
No idea. I mean, he hasn’t done nearly the stupid things that some have. He looks like a normal teen and doesn’t wear meat-dresses or anything… I dunno. But, he’s very talented and has done so much already – good for him!!
It’s true! (That much I know about him.) So I really wonder what’s up with people’s hostility toward him. Maybe it’s just another example of the hostility many people feel toward any successful person or business. Envy or jealousy.
oh wow!!! congratulations!! im totally jealous!
Wow! That’s fantastic!
My first ‘real’ concert that I remember was Dwight Yokum, and I was excited to see him. (yes, I know, dating myself and outing myself as a total nerd!)
I’ve seen some good ones, but nothing on the scale of the Bieb I’m sure! Great memories, Mom. Good job!
Oh my – my brother LOVES him!!
Yes! YOu definitely win mom of the year!
Is it just me, or does he look kind of in shock to be meeting you? 😉
That is crazy awesome!!! Belle appears to be somewhat in disbelief. Love it! My first concert was… shhh, don’t tell anyone… New Kids on the Block!
Yes!! Same here, Diana!!!
lmao!!
What a fun mom & daughter date! lol I bet all of her friends were so jealous! What a cool experience!
Such a cute mother-daughter bonding experience! Glad you both had an awesome time!
Awesome photos. happy halloween.
Happy Halloween to you as well! Hope it was a fun night for you!
What a great experience. Happy WW and happy Halloween!
I played too. Mine are here and here.
Wow! I’m not a JB fan myself, but that must have been awesome! My first concert was to see Status Quo *cringe*
That is so awesome. You are like the coolest mom in the history of the world now in her book (not that you weren’t already)! I stumbled! My niece would have loved that!
My daughter has seen Justin Bieber too, but if I’d have taken her for a meet n greet, she wouldn’t have made it… her knees would have give out and we’d have had to peel her from the floor. 🙂
Glad you had such a fabulous time. I love the pics!
Jealous! I was in the city that day, but no tickets. Husband wasn’t as disappointed as I was haha.
She must had been beyond excited! If I would have met the NKOTB when I was her age, I would have died! lol
That was my own first concert!! lol
That was awesome, how many would give for the chance…
If you have not done so yet, we would love to have you come share/link via our WWHop: http://www.craftyspices.com/hops/wwhop
Happy Halloween!
Now that is a picture she’ll treasure forever! How fun!
I don’t see the appeal in celebrity crushes or fans going gaga, but I think it’s cool that your daughter got to meet Justin Bieber. That’s pretty awesome for a girl her age!
Very Cool.
100% coolest Mom EVER!
love his story of making it in a tough industry, and his mom’s story and background and what she overcame…
Wow! How exciting! My first concert was the rock band Rush back in the 80’s!
Hi Tammi, thanks for sharing your JB date night with your daughter. This memory will be with her forever. My first concert experience was when I was 13 years old. I was allowed to attend a Stampeders concert with friends. It was a great time.
I loved attending the Michael Buble concert a few years back – how did you score such an amazing invite?? I think your blog is so interesting and you get to do some really cool things!
Very cool concert-going experience. Sounded like fun √
What a lucky little girl!
Wow! That’s awesome that you could provide that opportunity for her 😀
What an amazing experience for your daughter.
That is truly amazing!!!… & you are a great mom to support her interests!
I bet you had a great time how awesome was that 🙂 Great bonding memories.
that is soo cool!
What a great memory your daughter will always have what a lucky girl meeting JB.
Wow all her friends must be so jealous lol!!!
What an amazing opportunity for the both of you. That will surely be a memory that neither one of you are likely to forget any time soon!
OMG, my daughter is 14 and LOVESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Justin Beiber!! 🙂 Lucky little girl!!
Now THIS is cool! I know a lot of girls who would kill to be in your shoes! awesome!
that is sooo cool! I dont have little girls…nor am i interested in Justin but what a great adventure!
My first concert was New Kids on the block…i thought i was sooooo cool….!
That was pretty cool. Not a big fan of JB, but I think it is great that you had a date with your daughter 🙂 It has inspired me to want to plan a night to do something with my boys!
Your so lucky! I wish I get to meet JB!!!!
How very cool! My oldest DD is so anti Beiber it’s funny, but the other girls enjoy his music. Beauty and a Beat is often heard around these parts much to my DD”s dismay.
Hi there! This article could not be written any better!
Reading through this post reminds me of my previous roommate!
He continually kept talking about this. I am going to forward
this article to him. Pretty sure he’s going to have a
very good read. Thank you for sharing!
