You Are Invited: #GoldfishMoments Twitter Party!

Last week I had the privilege of co-hosting a free movie night in Calgary, all thanks to Goldfish by Pepperidge Farms.

To set the scene: parents and kids of all ages, the all-new Goldfish Pretzels to snack on and Finding Nemo 3D on the big screen. All free. {insert huge thank you to the company, here}.

To say it was fun, is putting it mildly. Parents visited with friends and made new ones, and kids laughed and bounced with excitement. Happy chatter was in the air. Yet, it was a theatre full of kids anxiously waiting for the movie to start, right? So, here’s a sampling of some of the ‘other’ chatter I heard,

… “Don’t lick your 3D glasses!”

… “Please get off the floor”

… “Yes, it’ll start soon, shhhh”

Good thing there was Goldfish Pretzels to swoop in and be the hero, just like so many times before. I know it worked for me a couple of times with the twins that night, “MOM, she’s looking at meeee!”. Really? “That’s ok, Gilbert the Goldfish wants to swim, want one?”.

Before and after the screening I enjoyed the feedback from many parents, all thrilled to have been in attendance. There was a lot of precious moments made that night. Which is why we like to celebrate those #GoldfishMoments, times when we need them most.

Now proven to go perfectly with movie nights!
