My daughter are completely enthralled by the other Beverly Hills Chihuahua films, excitement was high when the third in the series arrived to our doorstep.
Why are they such huge fans? They love dogs, these movies always have such catchy music {I find myself humming them often} and they really are funny movies.
Not only do the the dogs talk, walk and dance – but they wear cute clothes! No wonder my girls are so smitten and so intrigued by their adventures!
Everyone’s favorite talking Chihuahuas Papi (voice of George Lopez) and Chloe (voice of Odette Annable) are back, joined by their five playful pups in an all-new family comedy. It’s canine chaos as Papi’s family (dog and human) move into the posh Langham Hotel, complete with a luxurious doggy spa. But there’s trouble in puppy paradise when Rosa, the littlest member of the pack, feels smaller and less special than ever. Now it’s up to Papi to help Rosa find – and celebrate – her inner strength, which turns out to be bigger than she ever dreamed and reminds humans and canines alike of the importance of family, friends and teamwork.
Oftentimes I find myself staring at the films, wondering how they managed to get the dogs’ mouths ‘to speak’ so perfectly…. I asked the girls that yet they looked at me odd as if, ‘well, duh! they ARE talking’. Indeed, it’s a good film for adults and kids to watch together, and a great Blu-ray to stick in that stocking!
