Gymnastics Camp Photo Dump

We’re only half-way through July and I’m exhausted!!

Don’t get me wrong, these past 2 weeks have been a lot of fun and it’s nice to have full days instead of planning everything around school hours. So I guess I love the summer hype, but really, it’s tiring.

Isabelle spent the first week at Gymnastics Camp half-days {which she adored!}. Yet, it’s a drop-off and pick-up sort of activity so I didn’t get any photos except for face paint fun on the last day. That smile is huge though, right?

For the second week, I signed up the twins for their first ever Gymnastics experience. At their age though parents have to stay close, so I was able to watch the twinlins and capture some moments.

I resisted jumping in and try out all the equipment myself, though it was so tempting. Yet, I do love Summer and I’d rather not spend it with a broken everything – my last gymnastics go-round was 20 years ago. Yikes, that long ago, already?

Here’s a bit of an {adorable} photo dump for you. A glimpse into a bit of My Chaos in July 2012.

  1. Adorable! It’s great to keep the girls busy – looks like they’re having a great time.

  2. Aw! I remember attempting gymnastics when I was younger….We’ll just leave it at it wasn’t my forte. LOL

It sounds like even though it’s tiring, the fun and excitement make up for it ^.^

Ha! I can’t even remember if I was good at it or not, actually. But it was fun. Love seeing the smiles on the kids’ faces there!

  3. Aww :-) Maybe chaotic so far only being 2 weeks in – but it looks like an amazing 2 weeks thus far! :-)

  4. adorable photos Tammi. Way to make summer memories, Mom!

  5. Hey Tammi!

We have had Allison in the Parent & Tot gymnastic for the past few months now… That foam pit is a pain in the butt to climb out of, especially when you’re trying to wrestle a toddler that doesn’t want to get out! Looks like we had the same coach too!

    • Nice! My girls are in Jumping Beans, as was my oldest years ago. I hear that it’s even harder for adults to get out of there, even though I was tempted to jump in.
Side fact: I asked how often they clean that foam pit – you don’t even want to know… eww
