Maclaren Denim Twin Triumph ~ Double Stroller

If you have twins like myself {or 2 toddlers}, a double stroller is one of those must-have items.

For the past few months we have been using the Maclaren Demin Twin Triumph Double Stroller, a lightweight {only 23lbs} side-by-side stroller that has made quite the name for itself among all the doubles in its class.

Even though my twins are 3, we still use a stroller for them, albeit not all the time like when they were younger. Yet, for traveling and day trips, having a stroller is a must. That’s why the Maclaren Twin Triumph came with us on our family trip to Walt Disney World last month.

For travel, the stroller is light and compact, folding to just the perfect size to store in any truck. And, with the convenient handle on the side, carrying is made simple and easy. It has 12 wheels, making it easy to turn and steer. This is our first double that would fit into the terms ‘umbrella’, and I must say it’s very nice to have a stroller that doesn’t seem to be as big as a vehicle. The compactness was especially nice since it had to be folded each time we went on the Disney Bus Transportation.

The girls are very comfortable in the Maclaren Twin Triumph, with it’s 5-point harness and foot rests. The seats can fully recline, yet the girls only fell asleep once in the stroller and it was short-lived, so we just let them nap sitting up. Even at the older age they are, there’s still room to grow {capacity is 110lbs} and they aren’t crowded at all in the seats. Speaking of, the plush seat fabric is washable {which is nice for all the dripped ice cream} and it comes with a detachable sunshade/canopy that can be locked into place. This canopy is water resistant and has a large UV protective viewing windows as well.

The Maclaren Twin Triumph has a storage area below and 2 pockets on the back, which came in so handy during our trip. Most of the times I kept our jackets and maps down below and cards and some of the littler things in the pockets. I was also able to hang my camera bag and a backpack with snacks on the back, via the handles. Even when the girls weren’t sitting in the stroller, it didn’t tip due to the weight of my camera bag {I carry a lot of gear}, proving to be a sturdy and well-balanced stroller.

Fitting easily through doorways it maneuvered its way through all the shops and through crowds at Disney Parks. Pushing this stroller felt natural, I really like the positioning of the handles. Both the front and back wheels are lockable, and these positions can be switched with one just foot. It proved to be a great stroller for my twins, coming with us on life’s travels {even to Walt Disney World!}.
