Layers by Scentsy

Scentsy is known for safely providing wonderful fragrance in your home. When they introduced Layers by Scentsy to their growing product line, I was smitten. After all, when changing scent bars, I noticed that the fragrance lingered on my skin and had often thought, ‘wouldn’t it be nice to have body fragrance too?!’ Wait no longer, Scentsy now provides a line of pampering fragrancing for the body.

There are nine Layers by Scentsy products {Shower Gel, Shower Cream, Body Butter, Body Lotion, Hand Cream, Body Spray, Solid Perfume, Washer Whiffs, Dryer Disk}, with six different fragrances to choose from {Coconut Lemongrass, Luna, Quiver, Love Story, Enchanted Mist and Sugar Cookie}. Notice that a few, especially Quiver and Luna, are top picks by the men too!

Here are the details on the ones I tried:

Shower Gel ~ This lightly foaming gel refreshes with amazing Scentsy fragrance and comforts with vitamin B5, known to promote healthy skin. I have the sugar cookie and though it smells like you are washing yourself with frosting, a sweet scent is left behind. It helps to start the day on such a sweet and tasty note. Warning though, it smells divine, but please don’t eat it.

Shower Cream ~ Emollient soybean oil enriches this luscious cream to smooth and moisturize your skin. It’s think and a little goes a long way. It can also double for shaving cream, so that’s a bonus! Luna is a favored scent for both men and women, and one of my all time faves for scents in general, so I’m happy that it’s included in the Layers product line.

Body Spray Wrap yourself in a veil of fragrance with Body Spray – a light mist adds a perfect touch of fragrance to your day. The first time I sprayed this on my skin, I noticed the power behind the pump. I’m not talking 5 sprays and you are good like other body sprays. Yet, one spray and I’m set to go, realizing that this bottle will last a long time {love the bang for the buck!}. I was happy to get this in Luna {recall, one of my faves}, and it’s been so handy since it arrived. I spritz it on a couple times a day, especially when I’m a hot sweaty mess from working out or gardening. I’ve long given up the dream of shower the exact moment that I’d like to, thanks to motherhood. Now, I’m able to have a light and refreshing scent until the kids ‘say’ it’s ok to shower. Yep, this body spray and mommy-dom work so well together!

Hand Cream Shea butter and aloe vera sooth rough hands that need extra care. Pack the convenient tube in your purse and bring a touch of softness wherever you go. I am a very picky hand cream gal, too watery or think and I don’t like it. Likewise if it leaves a residue, I don’t reach for it much. After all, Moms hands are busy all day long, and the last thing I need is to leave hand cream evidence all over the house. I am truly impressed with the formula for the Scentsy Body Lotion, it leaves the skin soft and once rubbed in thoroughly – best feeling ever!
