Kids and their Hot Wheels, oy!

Even my 3 girls have their own Hot Wheels cars, so they aren’t just for boys don’t ‘ya know. But, speaking of ‘boys’, no one is more of a fan than my husband. Considering his excitement and interest in cars as an adult {an understatement}, I can just imagine how much he loved his Hot Wheels as a kid.

To mark such a long-lasting product line – meet the Hot Wheels® 2011 Camaro® Concept Car. This 1:64-scale model Hot Wheel is based on the full-sized 2011 Camaro® Concept Car, which is a collaborative effort between General Motors Design studio in Michigan and the Hot Wheels Design studio in California. The full-size counterpart is being showcased at the Canadian International Auto Show, if you have a chance – go see it!

This particular Camaro {the real one} is a dream of my husbands. We had an 80′s Camero pre-kids and ever since my husband has been itching to get another. And the green finish is the exact color he has his eyes on, and has come ‘this close‘ to buying it a few times this year.

He’d look so cute watching the kids while I’m out crusin’, don’t you think!

The Hot Wheels® 2011 Camaro® Concept Car is the 18^th Camaro model produced since 1968 and there is only 2,000 of these collector cars available in Canada!

So, will the Hot Wheels® 2011 Camaro® Concept Car be a good replacement until the real-deal calls our driveway home? Yep, he’s getting a collector model car for himself and is so excited. As in, kid-like-excited. Like I said, ‘kids’ and their Hot Wheels, oy!
