Victorious, for XBox Kinect and Nintendo DS

Isabelle is a big fan of the show Victorious, mainly because it focuses on performing and being in the spotlight. D3 Publisher has released Victorious: Hollywood Arts Debut for Nintendo DS and Victorious: Time to Shine for the XBox Kinect, and had sent Isabelle a DS copy for review. She’s had a lot of fun with this game, as she was able to be apart of the scene and perform in a Hollywood arts production.

KEY FEATURES OF THE GAME:

  • Take part in crazy adventures with Tori, Beck and all the stars from the show
  • Explore Hollywood Arts and find hidden items and unlockables around every corner
  • Create and customize your own character with clothes, accessories, locker decorations, and more!
  • Exciting and intuitive mini-games using the stylus such as dancing and singing with Tori!

Isabelle really likes the ‘role playing’ games, especially creating characters. With this game you can choose gender, body type, hair color and hair style. The game then takes you through rooms to hang out with classmates, dance, play the guitar, decorate and do many mini games along the way. By collecting stars you earn more points to unlock new clothing pieces. My daughter really likes the acting aspect of the game, by copying the instructor she has fun but also unlocks other acting moves. By doing more, more options and moves open up whether it’s playing the guitar {or drums etc} or dancing. Isabelle says she likes it because, “it’s exactly like the show”.

You can purchase Victorious: Time to Shine Debuts for Kinect™ for Xbox 360® – $49.95; Nintendo DS – $29.95 from most retailers that sell Nintendo Games.

Disclosure: I received product to facilitate this review, all opinions are my own.

My family engages in family night, and we love interactive games. This one looks like it would be right up our alley!
