Kids Live Here {Wordless Wednesday with Linky}
I look around and notice that each room has remnants of the kids, even hair ties decorating every knob and door handle in the house.
All evidence that kids live {and play} here.

I love those pictures Tammi! It reminds me of my house 🙂
Even though I’ve dropped out of the blog-writing sphere I still like to pop in on you! Love the last picture with the ponytails!! I have 3 girls (6, 6, 3) and we have ponytails EVERYWHERE… and hairbands, and clips, and hairbrushes…
Thanks for coming by still, think you’ll make a blogging reappearance soon?
And, the hair ties are worse than missing socks – they go missing by the dozens and show up in the oddest places!!
🙂
That doll made me laugh 🙂
Thanks for linking up 😉
Ha, did you catch my Christmas WW when I found a Barbie head in my Christmas tree? Yep, they too, are everywhere!! lol
My kids do the same thing with the hair ties on knobs. LOL It is so cute to find. Love the barbie!!
At least I’ll never have a problem finding one in a hair emergency! lol
That is very true!!
Thanks for the linky Tammi!
thanks for linking up Randa!!
How are things with you mama?
🙂
Precious isn’t it?!
Thanks for hosting 🙂
Your house still looks much neater than mine. Love the pretty pictures. At my house we can never find elasticity BC they are always in the Barbie dolls hair.
my girls rarely put ties in Barbie hair….well, maybe give the twins a couple years, they haven’t mastered the ‘putting in’ yet!
…and I may have taken the pics on a ‘good day’. ha!
You can tell you have girls, because you would never see some of those things at my house! Great shots.
all boys I take it? Well, replace my doll heads with dinkie cars – and I bet you are in the same house!
🙂
Yep. I know this all too well… lol
Great blog! Thanks for linking up and following me..I did both back 🙂 Have a great night!
Thanks!!
I like the idea of colored bands on the closet doors.
My house always has a similar look 🙂
house-twins!!
🙂
I like the decorative touch on the dresser pulls 🙂
OMG My daughter does that, too! Sometimes she wraps hair ties so many times I can’t get them off.
yes!!! Same here!
Great pictures, by the way!
thanks Diana!!
🙂
I mean it. I really like the different perspectives you use and the out-of-focus background in the second pic.
Thanks, I’ve been practicing!
Got a new lens and flash too – Mommy loves new toys too!
🙂
aww,, yes I love seeing those things each night after Princess Play All Day goes to bed.
Aww, I’ve found hair ties like that around knobs. SO cute!
Aww lovely pictures 🙂 my girl certainly leaves her presence ALL around with her toys! Haha
Aww…totally how it looks here, and as long as I’m not tripping on something, about 99% of the time, their little silly things make me smile.
Agreed!
🙂
Oh yes! I have all kinds of signs that I have kids in my house as well. I love the ponytail holders on the knobs!
Yes they do!

This totally cracks me up! I find hairband around ALL my drawers!!
Thanks for hosting! I’m all linked up! I’m also having a linky party too, and would love for you to link up and share with me at http://www.thesouthernproductqueen.com! Thanks!
yes..don’t look at the rugs!
or under!! lol
The dresser knobs are a great place to keep hair ties
um… where are the crumbs on the floor? I can never seem to keep the floors clear of crumbs! lol
These pics are awesome, Tammi! I really like the feel of them. VERY nice!
well… I may have vacuumed just before the photos. Quick, take a pic, it only lasts 5 minutes!!!
lol
LOL. I knew it! 🙂 But I totally know what you mean. With 3 kiddos, we’re lucky to get 5 minutes, right? haha
I know all about those hair bands on the drawer knobs… and door handles… and remote controls… I could go on forever! The worst is in the vacuum! 🙁
It’s my first time to join Wordless Wednesday. Now a follower of your blog, too! 🙂
Thank you, happy to have you!!
🙂
Reminds me of my house!
The hair ties are funny!
Is that a star marker (the kind with different tips on each of the five points) in the background. The little kid inside misses them. Oooo, those and the pens that had different colors in one. They’re the best for kids that can’t just pick one color!
Great pics!
When I see Barbie sitting in the crayon box, all I can think about is Toy Story! Poor toys being ruled by a crazy bear! Great shots.
Ha!!! Very true, love the comparison!
Great shots. Love the neat angles. There is plenty of evidence of children being present in our house.
thank you!
🙂
Barbie is looking very well loved!!
I work very hard to make sure that a few portions of my house remain child free…. I usually fail horribly 😉
Mollyxxx
Me too Molly, I try and try – some days are better than others…
My house is the same..well I have one toddler, a little different, but the same..things are everywhere. 🙂
Thank you for the link up, found you over at another WW link up, hope to see you over at http://daytodaymoments.blogspot.com
I remember doing that to my drawers with my hair bands lol.
There’s evidence all around my house too, i think the only downside to it is stepping on my sons toys, ouch! Lol.
New follower 🙂
Here’s my WW this week: http://ttoria.blogspot.com

cute, i love this post! i have found myself sometimes wondering how cold and boring my house would be without the toys and messes from my toddler. 😉
that is so true! I know one day I’ll miss all the little reminders, so I smile when I see the little additions hidden everywhere!
Reminds me of my house too! Except with 3 men/boys and 3 dogs, my floors aren’t as clean! LOL
wait – I kind of wish we had a dog to lick up the crumbs on the floor!!
ha!
Love these pics! So wonderful to see the remnants of children and their play time. Means they are having a great time!:)
… and I bet you wouldn’t have it any other way!
no Felicia, I wouldn’t!
Absolutely nothing wrong with the “evidence.” Love your photos!
That’s the way a home should look! 🙂 At least that’s what I keep telling myself each evening. 😉
Yes! I convince myself of that every day! ha!
Those are beautiful and creative photos! Oh I have much of the same ones I could share. Hair ties on doorknobs…..toys on the kitchen counter….toys in the bathtub….the list goes on 🙂 We are so incredibly blessed Tammi!
That we are, Annie – who knew little messes could make a person smile.
Awe… my house is much the same, except mostly cars and trucks! Thanks for the linky!
Love the Barbie in the crayon box. This is how my daughter likes to clean, by shoving toys in buckets and bins they don’t belong in. I’m sure I’ll miss finding those surpises some day!
Theresa
Yes, our house too. Love the photos.
Looks like my house ~ kid stuff everywhere 🙂

could be my own house! my girls wanted to decorate for the holidays and covered everything with the hair accessories! And poor Barbie…always seems to get the worse of it.
I love the hair ties on the knobs! That’s the best. Thanks for linking up at Taylor Joelle Designs!
I see my child is not the only one to colour on more than just paper.
Oh yes, we’ve got kid evidence all over our small apartment too!!
Tammi, I just love the pictures. I always have had a love for macro photography. Sometimes when I am alone and the kids are at school I always feel comforted by the evidence they live behind.
well said, Karen, I agree!
I’m practicing my Macro these days – can you tell? lol
I don’t believe it…. How can children be living there? It’s FAR too neat! LOL Thanks for sharing & I hope your WW was really neat…..
the photos may have been taken on a good day – just after vacuuming…
🙂
Great photos! Thanks for sharing the inspiration! Happy WW!
He he. Too funny. Love them.
My daughter loves to put those colored bands on her dresser knobs, too! That is so funny!

Leah, she’s lucky to still have her head! lol
That so could be my house. I don’t know how many wipe containers we have filled with crayons and markers!!! 🙂 I also wanted to let you know that I awarded you with The Versatile Blogger award!!!
Love the signs of kids. Sorry I am late, but happy WW!
Thanks for coming by, ‘late’ or not!!
See you this wed!
🙂
Great photos! There are always signs of kids living in my house also, but they involve more boy-related items … legos, cars, etc. 🙂
Thank you for linking up with Wild & Wonderful Wednesday!
I can totally relate! Kids definitely live in my house!
I love the barbie doll man I used to do the same thing
