Kids Live Here {Wordless Wednesday with Linky}

I look around and notice that each room has remnants of the kids, even hair ties decorating every knob and door handle in the house.

All evidence that kids live {and play} here.

  1. Even though I’ve dropped out of the blog-writing sphere I still like to pop in on you! Love the last picture with the ponytails!! I have 3 girls (6, 6, 3) and we have ponytails EVERYWHERE… and hairbands, and clips, and hairbrushes…

    1. Thanks for coming by still, think you’ll make a blogging reappearance soon?
And, the hair ties are worse than missing socks – they go missing by the dozens and show up in the oddest places!!
      🙂

    1. Ha, did you catch my Christmas WW when I found a Barbie head in my Christmas tree? Yep, they too, are everywhere!! lol

  2. Your house still looks much neater than mine. Love the pretty pictures. At my house we can never find elasticity BC they are always in the Barbie dolls hair.

    1. my girls rarely put ties in Barbie hair….well, maybe give the twins a couple years, they haven’t mastered the ‘putting in’ yet!
…and I may have taken the pics on a ‘good day’. ha!

    1. all boys I take it? Well, replace my doll heads with dinkie cars – and I bet you are in the same house!
      🙂

        1. Thanks, I’ve been practicing!
Got a new lens and flash too – Mommy loves new toys too!
          🙂

  3. aww,, yes I love seeing those things each night after Princess Play All Day goes to bed.

  4. Aww…totally how it looks here, and as long as I’m not tripping on something, about 99% of the time, their little silly things make me smile.

    1. well… I may have vacuumed just before the photos. Quick, take a pic, it only lasts 5 minutes!!!
      lol

  5. Is that a star marker (the kind with different tips on each of the five points) in the background. The little kid inside misses them. Oooo, those and the pens that had different colors in one. They’re the best for kids that can’t just pick one color!

    Great pics!

  7. I work very hard to make sure that a few portions of my house remain child free…. I usually fail horribly 😉

  8. I remember doing that to my drawers with my hair bands lol.
There’s evidence all around my house too, i think the only downside to it is stepping on my sons toys, ouch! Lol.

  9. cute, i love this post! i have found myself sometimes wondering how cold and boring my house would be without the toys and messes from my toddler. 😉

    1. that is so true! I know one day I’ll miss all the little reminders, so I smile when I see the little additions hidden everywhere!

  10. Reminds me of my house too! Except with 3 men/boys and 3 dogs, my floors aren’t as clean! LOL

  11. Love these pics! So wonderful to see the remnants of children and their play time. Means they are having a great time!:)

  12. Those are beautiful and creative photos! Oh I have much of the same ones I could share. Hair ties on doorknobs…..toys on the kitchen counter….toys in the bathtub….the list goes on 🙂 We are so incredibly blessed Tammi!

  13. Love the Barbie in the crayon box. This is how my daughter likes to clean, by shoving toys in buckets and bins they don’t belong in. I’m sure I’ll miss finding those surpises some day!

  14. could be my own house! my girls wanted to decorate for the holidays and covered everything with the hair accessories! And poor Barbie…always seems to get the worse of it.

  15. Tammi, I just love the pictures. I always have had a love for macro photography. Sometimes when I am alone and the kids are at school I always feel comforted by the evidence they live behind.

  16. My daughter loves to put those colored bands on her dresser knobs, too! That is so funny!

  17. That so could be my house. I don’t know how many wipe containers we have filled with crayons and markers!!! 🙂 I also wanted to let you know that I awarded you with The Versatile Blogger award!!!

  18. Great photos! There are always signs of kids living in my house also, but they involve more boy-related items … legos, cars, etc. 🙂

Thank you for linking up with Wild & Wonderful Wednesday!
