With a mouthful name like, ‘Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken‘ you’d assume it be a complicated and time-consuming recipe.
No Way!
Yet, it IS a mouthful of delicious rather!!
I used to just bake ordinary chicken breasts with spices, and now I have a new favorite. My hubby claimed it was better than ones tried in restaurants.
My oldest says, “you can make this anytime”. My {picky} twin toddlers said nothing until they asked for seconds, as did everyone in the family. Really, this is a recipe to try my friends!

- 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves {4 ounces each}
- Spreadable Herb and Garlic Cream Cheese {or chive and onion flavor}
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8-10 bacon strips
- Flatten chicken to ½” thickness
- Spread 2-3 tablespoons cream cheese over each. sprinkle with salt and pepper
- Roll up and Wrap each with 2-3 bacon strips, placing seam side down on a greased 13″ x 9″ baking pan
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes, at 400°C. If needed, Broil 6 for 5 minutes to get the bacon crisp.
Enjoy!

Looks delicious. I love bacon and I love chicken. Especially chicken that’s stuffed.
I agree, Tiffany. I never attempted to ‘stuff a meat’ before {sounds so odd}, I always assumed it was hard. Now I’m brave enough to try more ‘stuffing’. lol
Awesome! This looks delicious. I just recently started stuffing meat also. The possibilities are endless. Try pork chops sometime. It’s actually very easy! You’ll wonder why you never did it before.
Pork chops or tenderloin, Curt?
Have a recipe for me to try?
Actually, I’ve stuffed chops and tenderloin. (And chicken breasts). I usually smoke most everything, but they’re still very tasty done in the oven.
You can look at the related links to see some of the others if interested. But this one here is my favorite. My wife and I have made it many times now for company. Always a big hit. http://www.smokedngrilled.com/smoked-apple-walnut-stuffed-pork-chop/
Oh, I like the sounds of that!
How would it taste without the Walnuts, Curt?
{allergies in the family…}
That is unfortunate. The walnuts are my favorite part in the stuffing because of the crunch. Can you substitute walnuts with soy nuts? That might work. But then, I wouldn’t take chances with allergies.
As for flavor though, the walnuts probably wouldn’t change much.
I’ll have to think up a substitue. So often I see a recipe that I want to try, and it has nuts in the ingredients. It’s hard to tell if it’s really ‘needed’ or not…
thanks for sharing this awesome sounding recipe.
everything taste better with bacon, eh.
yes, everything is better with bacon!
This looks delicious, I’m certainly going to try this recipe very soon. Thanks!
This looks so tasty! I have tried every one of your recipes and I have loved every one. Although I love bacon it has to be real crispy so I usually do not use it for main dishes but this looks so good and you have never let me down in the taste department, we are going to try it! Thanks for sharing these great recipes, always nice to have variety:)
Hi Doris!
The underside doesn’t get real crispy of course, but the top and sides, yes! I like crispier bacon too, so I was happy that it came out as so! Yum!
We have made this twice! Yum it is so good, I love the taste and was surprised my husband did too, he’s such a meat and potato person! Thanks for the recipe:)
WOW that sounds yummy! I think I will try it for dinner tonight! THanks for sharing!!
yummy yummy yummy!! I have to save this and try it !
Looks great! I am going to have to try this.
So easy too Dianne, I think the hardest part is trying to roll some slippery raw chicken, watch out!
This truly looks delicous, i am adding it to my list of “must trys”
Let me know if you try it!!
